THHPII thread 2(3?)
>>
>>17477522
It's been more than three, the last one was at least the third or fourth.
>>
I'm convinced that the pass for
>http://tormadoes.weatherfront.net/logs

Is somewhere in "The Sculptor's Clayground video" it woudn't make sense for it to be in the house, since the website its advertised in said video

All i can find that could be relevant is
>LNKS (wich is lynks mispelled that appears on the left during the intro)
>Sam's email wich could work as a username

The only place that i've seen emails is on some of the .txt files on the archives of AB
>>
>>17477264

not seeing any pink boomy in that video. just boomy and a bunch of deer. am I blind? or is pink boomy something that doesn't look like boomy?
>>
>>17477539
What about the name of the song that he mentions?

What's the deal there?

That's because of a typo.

Username: 00437
Password: bedsheets

Password for archives: sadday
Password for [3]: waarnemin
>>
>>17477533
http://absurveillancesolutions.com/

Login with "00437" as the username, and "bedsheets" as the password. For getting into the archives, use "sadday" as a password.

There is also a secret option 3, the password for that is "waarnemin"
>>
I asked him if the password and username were hinted at at all for the tormadoes thing, but he said that he was sorry he couldn't answer that.
>>
>>17477533
absurveillancesolutions.com:
Login: 00437
Password: bedsheets

00437 is not strictly a username, but the log number of that specific household. Keep an eye open for similar numbers, as they would denote neighboring houses.

2 (Archives):
Password: sadday

3 (X):
Password: waarnemin

Dutch word for "observation".

In case nobody remembers, if you go to
>http://thesculptorsclayground.com/images
You can see the whole list of images used in the website, including pic related wich isn't seen anywhere, same with a Lynks sympthom picture that isn't seen on the website

You can also enter
http://thesculptorsclayground.com/lynks
And will show you the folder with the images exclusive to the desease

There is a banner on top that says
>Join C's Team
>The word sculptor is missing a C on the title, just wanted to point that out
>>
>>17477590
>he is watching the viewer as much as the viewer is watching him

I think this is half correct. He undeniably works or worked for AB Surveillance for at least five seasons of the show (which doesn't necessarily mean five years; see The Joy of Painting) and served basically the same purpose as the Lynks Review pamphlets: to soothe the patients and give them ways to occupy their time and cope with their conditions.

I feel that the episode we got to see showed that Lynks had just started to take hold of the Sculptor and affect his mind. The sculptor's website (thesculptorsclayground.com) was a good while after the episode, where the more serious symptoms started showing themselves.
Theoretically the sculptor ended up escaping and going into hiding in a parking garage until his condition got to a point where he felt the need to record a video in case his disease became too unbearable. Note that he was unwilling to seek help until he felt he had absolutely no other choice.

The unused images of the pots should be displayed in one of the headers, you can see in the js console a failed load of a local resource: 'file:///Macintosh%20HD/Users/alan/Desktop/clayground/images/pots.jpg". Not sure if this is a genuine mistake (all the creator's websites have very strange coding) or a hint. Changing this to the correct relative path of "/images/pots.jpg" shows those pots.

SCULPTORS PLAYGROUND NOTES:
(please quote this post if you're posting more shit about sculptors playground)

"and if you're ever eaten CAKE or made CAKE you know it comes on what? cardboard"
so.. why is he saying cake, instead of clay?

A) could this be linked to the fact that the pizza was made of clay?
B) could this be linked to the kids birthday cake

This clay name also catches my eye. "12 gauge". and 12 people died in the book (woman says in that long ass video in bed) before distinctly repeating TWELVE. this has to be a clue right, else why would they show the name up on screen like that?

Posted this in the last thread:

These AB videos are a metaphor for Autism.

>The video where the dad was screaming that anthem
Poor vocal control.

>The video where the dad wheres his son's clothes, lies in his bed, and draws pictures Boomy.
The stunted growth that comes with autism. Usually has a childish personality and hobbies even as an adult.

>The videos with when the people are downstairs touching their face
OCD. Another common autistic trait. It takes full effect when you are alone in private.

>Sonic the Hedgehog(Boomy the Cat)
Speaks for itself.

>The video where the repair guy talks to the Mom and Dad while they are sleeping.
Not knowing how to properly interact. Not being aware of surroundings.

>The video of the Dad with the door
Another case of OCD. Some kind of ritual pattern.

>The video where the dad is struggling to lift that Lawnmower
Lack of responsibility.

>The video with parents discussing their son watching Boomy. The Mom saying he's too old for it. The Dad explaining it helps him "focus". They also mention it being "too fast" for him and adjusting to their new home and the mom's mother.
Overactive imagination and fantasy escapism. Also referencing the speed of the show with the possibility of their son being slow and not being fond of change.

>The video where the dad talk about Boomy being a imaginary friend for their son.
Their son probably has trouble interacting with other kids and making friends.

>The video with the dad crawling on the floor
General bizarre behavior that can come with the spectrum.

And in "This House Has People In It" is a metaphor for a autistic breakdown. With the girl lying on the floor having shit happen. Parents freaking out. It's an episode.

While I love the enthusiasm, Wild Mass Guessing and drawing from thematic elements to figure out the big metaphor is not getting us anywhere in the ARG itself. We gotta focus more on the puzzles so we can get moar info, that's how an ARG works.

Keep it focused, keep it positive, theories are cool but we've still got a looottttt to uncover and that's the best part.
>>
>>17477779

Alan already did Alantutorial, I doubt he would do autism again. It has to be something else, like Claridryl was about depression and depression drugs.
But for my life I can't come up with a cohesive theme.

>Another case of OCD. Some kind of ritual pattern.

The guy had sudden onset cerebral palsy in that video. Poor fucker was just trying to stand and open a door at the same time.

Alan's had themes of autism in alantutorial, so yeah, I can see him incorporating this shit as a secondary metaphor, but it's not the main point of the series.
>>
>>17477824
He literally added more as we were looking around.
The tormadoes site simply didn't exist until hours after we've tried it.

Alan's bullshitting.
>>
>>17477842
>The guy had sudden onset cerebral palsy in that video. Poor fucker was just trying to stand and open a door at the same time.
That also can come with autism since they are both neurological disorders.
>>
>>17477851
Fair point.
>>
>>17477819
We knew exactly what the next step is. We just can't figure out what to type.

House of Leaves is a book that has a vaguely (and I do mean vaguely) similar atmosphere.
Every instance of the word House was printed in blue.
I loved the book personally, but it attracted an insufferable audience.
>>
>>17477903

In the novel House of Leaves, any instance of the word 'House' is colored blue. It's still a mystery to fans why that is.

Now, someone is giving the Googledoc the same treatment, to look savvy and be a fuckboy.
>>
>>17477906
It all looks to consist of a multitude of these things instead of something singular.
>>
>>17477906
There are a lot of cures for Lynks, but I don't think any of them work.
The Sculptor keeps saying he was cured, but the pictures of his hands in thesculptorsclayground.com more than prove otherwise. By the time he opened the site, he was in horrible shape.

Stop sperging out. The only thing that got affected was a public google doc (an idiotic place to take notes on an ARG that started on adult fucking swim) that was going to get griefed to death at some point anyway.

The doc's been salvaged by an anon in this thread, and it looks like they're working on a wikia right now.

I think the red face spreads Lynks -- and we are already infected. IIRC, the end of the main movie has the blue screen asking if users see a face. if not, type 3. We do of course see the red face appear on screen for a single frame. I assume the Red Face is contracted to AB in some manner.

I think the Red Face is a symptom of Lynks. It already has paranormal symptoms, like falling through the floor - Redface could be an apparition that appears to people with LD. If the theories are right about it being the source of the screaming on the phone calls (like it was for x3), then it could also spread things like memory loss.

Also join the chat, we're booting up the wikia.
http://tinychat com/sej2ou
>>
>>17478052
I'm not sure it is the source of the screaming, but then it's certainly very possible.

The thing is the couple was visibly horrified at the thing's presence in x3, and their screams were of legit terror.

The screams in the audio logs, for me and for others, are far more unsettling as they're strangely emotionless, more animalistic. Like the scream is instinctive rather than a cry for help.

They also always start screaming when they're starting to realize something important as well.
>>
>>17478036
Yup! I also believe this to be the case because one other video has a girl passing by house stop to take a look. She suddenly runs off after brief flashes of the Red Face man. The video is titled 'Subjected (forgot number) Affected"

Plus, other cases like how he can run happily around with a lawnmower but the dad can't budge it.
>>
>>17478065
The little black girl was Subject 27. Which leaves a gap between 13 to 27.

>>
>>17478065
I think the child was subject 27 (a particularly large leap from 13). She was also labeled as a guest, which tells me that she's from one of the other affected houses.

I'm starting to wonder, as this was one of the earliest videos, (certainly not the first, but definitely the first one important enough to be published in the archives) if subject 27 didn't bring Redface along, or awaken him somehow.

>>17478069
You could be right. Where came from is very odd. My long shot guess is AB 'sent' him in to infect the couple on X3, given the bizarre flash lights shining behind him. (Personnel?) It's just odd that X3 has the couple conversing so normally, and this happens to be the time he shows up. 2017 shoots this idea down, though I'm willing to bet it's the company throwing off the lead for anyone who might suspect they 'did' it.
>>
Just make a locked version of the doc or lock the current one. Our information stream has become a trickle after the first night and the tormado site is a pretty substantial roadblock. Have someone update it when we get new info, but everything currentluy is just speculation.

The dates in their entirety are unreliable, 2017 most of all.
There is no description in the x videos, and you need to access them via a hidden path; it's pretty clear that AB didn't want anyone but top personnel knowing about it. Good thought on the year being intentionally misleading to save face. The flashlights are a heavy implication that Mr. X had backup. x3 could potentially be the start of the family's problems.

We've been at a brick wall for a few days now, and the google doc getting rekt(however inevitable) isn't helping. A lot of people are declaring that there's no actual story or structure to any of this, which is bullshit when you think about the amount of work this must have all been. At this point, I think someone fucked up the sequence of events that was supposed to give us the Tomando passwords, like one domino failing to hit another.
>>
>>17478539
Zoom and enhance!
>>
>>17478542
It's BARELY an ARG. It's the semblance of one. There is not alternative reality to speak of. He broke the fourth wall when he made the interview. He said it was just a shitty art piece.
>>
Restored an earlier version, Will have to open it up as suggestions. Sorry to the guy that added pictures of the subjects. It won't let me restore it without just throwing it up as a blank page and giving me script errors.

Figured that this might get griefed, but wasn't expecting google docs to go full retard.
>>
>some retard inevitably destroys the google doc
>everyone in the thread gets butthurt instead of reuploading from backups
>alan says he doesn't know if there'll be more content
>everyone gets even more butthurt and starts arguing about whether there was an ARG or not

Well, it was nice while it lasted. Bye, guys.
>>
>>17478546
There was nothing else to really look for though. Its only logical we'd go for the one lead while waiting for the private sculptor vids to go public.
>>
>>17478541
Now you're just pointing fingers like an angry cunt. How about you get out of this thread with your bitching. You are disturbing the peace.
>>
>>17478502
Don't pretend your internet allegory thing is the answer, it's nothing but just another theory. And why do you care so much if we waste our time? This is /x/ for fuck's sake I don't know why people like you visit this board when most mysteries are like this, you're not contributing anything to the thread with your superiority complex. Just fuck off.
>>
>>17478558
It was all just a waste. Someone should tell Alan the next time you make something: Finish it before releasing it to the public.
>>
>>17478564
>Now you're just pointing fingers like an angry cunt.
And you haven't? Are you seriously this fucking retarded? The only person in this thread "disturbing the peace" is you whining, for the millionth time, that "OH MY GAWD, I FUKIN HATE REDDIT! THEY'RE SO FUCKING MEAN!"
>>
>>17478553
>there's not alternative reality to speak of

All fiction is alternate reality. Websites that take place in the fictional universe denotes alternate reality.
>>

It just says "camera 1" and the coordinates for said camera's orientation. I don't think there's anything there.
>>
>>17478560
Right before the google doc went down someone figured out that the places the various coordinates pointed to spell out PIZZA, so there's clearly more we haven't found. Hopefully the arguing will peter out eventually and we can go back to banging our collective heads against the wall
>>
>>17478572
Agreed.
>>

Nobody asked for your 2 cents. If you haven't noticed; YOU are the one still bitching and moaning about the site being brought up. You don't see anyone else still talking about it.

Now stop complaining and get yourself some tea or some shit.
>>

You just don't understand basic storytelling

The minute the creator of the ARG speaks out about the ARG, the alternate reality becomes transparent. The instant the fourth wall is broken with an ARG, it is effectively dead. So even if there WAS some semblance to one, it's been killed off by its creator in one swoop

Not mad (well a bit miffed that google due to the revisions having errors). Not sure why people do shit like this.

Oh well didn't really lose anything major from what I can tell aside from the pictures of the subjects.

Isn't Dina just some reject friend of Alen? Alen is a fairly well off content creator and I'm guessing his reject friend wanted to do a super sekret ARG thing that got one page deep and dried up.

I wasn't going to be an ass and walk in here publicly, but seeing /x/ lose any morale to griefer idiots who don't understand what Wham City's made is bigger than this.

I saved the doc myself before it got nailed. Made two copies: a secure version and an open version to continue editing. Be careful with this one:

https://docs.google.com/document/d/1L6AtKwYSlBDYqOCGup-xqzLY_VBt60GN7dQbrI5k3bA/edit?usp=sharing

Don't lost morale, /x/philes. We're two username/password combinations away from getting all the gamepieces. Problem is trying to figure out whether Weatherfront and Claygroundfan69 are accounts we're meant to break.

Even if you think I'm reaction channel levels of garbage, I'm in the trenches on this with you guys. Let's get back on the horse, everyone!

satanic trips of truth.
I think we should start at the first things we were supposed to see, and work our way down in the best order of which things we were supposed to find, this includes going back over the ABsolutions website.
Somebody should re listen to all of the .wavs and listen for anything that stands out, same with the emails, double check everything we haven't found an answer to something in. Somebody write out a list of possible passwords or info pertaining to finding such passwords and i will update compile some sort of list so that we aren't working on solid memory. Sound good?
>>
>>17478666

The reveal of passwords within the launch video shows that if we're going to find anything pertinent for this, it should be in the same format. For the life of me, I can't figure out the R302/Rwhatever codes right now, but the spelling mistakes are too numerous to be accidents.

Here's one thing you can count on, I think: The missing 'R' from Birthday is intentional. That banner shows up way too many times outside of a birthday, and anyone on set would've noticed and raised a warning to the crew if it wasn't intentional.

What bugs me the most is how the Tormadoes site came around. Dina grabbing the domain that late and then installing a password login is gutsy. I honestly don't know if she did it to protect the domain from people who want to gamejack such a huge ARG, or if it was the one thing she forgot to set up before launch.

If we find enough shreds of things laying around, we can try username/password combos on it until we're dead tired.

>>17478686

I spotted an account who did, actually, on the discussion page. That's the other huge target right now: Claygroundfan69. If we can break into that account, that would be huge.
>>
>>17478677
We'll come to that conclusion once tormadoes is cracked or otherwise revealed.
>>
>>17478696
I'm thinking claygroundfan69 should be primary. The private vids could have more info on tormadoes

Just finished up transcriptions for the first two audio files in different formats. Direct transcription takes longer, while abridged transcription is me only leaving out unnecessary details.

FILE02203
S1: Hey!
S2 (crying): Honey, I want to tell you something.
S1: Are you okay? I can't hear anything you are saying. I literally can't hear
anything you are saying. I can hear that someone is on the other end of the
line, but I can't hear.
S2: A character in my book died.
S1: I'm sorry, I literally can't hear anything you are saying.
S2 (In a clearer, more normal voice): Honey.
S1: I can hear that.
S2: Can you hear what I said?
S1: It's not coming through.
S2: Listen. Listen!
S1: Are you still there?
S2: Yes!
S1: Man, these phones just don't work at all
S2: REEEEE *screams*
Notes: S1 seems to change halfway through the call and for some reason S2 can
only hear her in that one instance.

FILE34248
S1 tells S2 the mailman is here with his dog costume, which S2 says is odd
since packages are normally just dropped off instead of delivered. The costume
will be a surprise for Madison who wouldn't "expect to wake up as a dog", and
S1 seems to be personally familiar with such an occurrence. They decide to have a movie night and order pizza since tomorrow they will be opening boxes.
Notes: Maybe this is when S2 and S4 have just moved in and are planning to
unpack tomorrow.

Let me know which one is preferable before I continue.
>>
>>17478909

Yup, it's the URL.

By the way, about the order from that pastebin--I don't think we can trust it, sadly. Context of the phone calls sets up a loose timeline, and whether going forward or backward with the pastebin, it violates the context order.

It's good to keep it in mind for future reference as we figure out the laws of the game, but if we're playing with a very straight timeline, no go on that script setup as a clue.
