First off, a relationship has no bounds. It's rules are the rules you make. The idea of a relationship means "x y and z" is dumb and should be thrown away. Think of a relationship as DMing. You're given the book, and yes there's a great deal of information and guides to help you build an awesome campaign. But if all you do is that, you'll have a cookie-cutter campaign void of your touch. RULE 0. I believe Bruce Lee said it best "Adapt what is useful, reject what is useless, and add what is specifically your own."

Secondly, friends can be lovers, lovers can be friends, there's no rule that says they need be separate. This feeds in from the last part, but is more about you two defining roles. I was in this situation about 2 months ago also buddy. I honestly was a bit miffed at the bait and switch of offering romance at first only to be expected to turn my feelings off when she decided she wasnt ready and only wanted to be 'friends'

My advice, just back off, dont 'be there' for her and dont try to cling on. As counter-intuitive and cold as it sounds, it's the best option for you (i mean long term, short term it may seem appealing to just be around her).

I get the feeling of a stray dog waiting at the door. Of a soldier awaiting a command. A type of inaction caused by one's adherence or need for a sign or command. It's a feeling of being assured of a direction, but still confused as to what one must do. (though I'm sure that's pretty obvious by the fact you're in a thread like this asking for advice from anonymous strangers on the net, nothing too insightful there)

It seems that their standoffishness, may be simply due to the idea that they don't see you in such a light. The examples I seem to be getting all imply a type of relation where one person is in someway "holding something over" the other. That is to say that a definite gap in perceived power or influence exists.

Maybe they don't feel the same way, or possibly they just haven't realized that you feel that way about them. It's hard to tell from just this feeling I'm getting. But it seems that better communication and a bit more honesty about things could clear up a lot.

In a more pragmatic sense I would suggest just talking with them, and if it doesn't go over too well, consider moving on or finding someone who makes you feel a bit more validated as a person. Either way good luck with your crush, I wish you the best.

Jokes aside, I get the feeling of a wanderer, both in spirit and body. The type of guy who doesn't want to be held down in one place for too long, and lives by his ideals. Like a wondering bard or minstrel. The kind of man who has a song in his heart and lets a happy little tune, and the direction of the wind determine his next call.

While he may be aloof and standoffish at times, a point will come where he seeks to find stability. Making things work will involve finding a balance between spontaneity and structure, fun and rigidity. It'll be a wild ride for sure, full of it's ups and downs, try to be aware of the circumstances lest you get caught up in a "wherever the wind takes me" attitude yourself if that isn't your current lifestyle's jam.

tldr; he seems like he'll be a pretty free spirited kind of guy that'll just sort of wander into your life at some point. He may be a bit out there and do some silly stuff. Try to keep him grounded a bit and things may actually go pretty well.

I get the feeling of appearances not being entirely what they seem. Like a wolf in sheep's clothing, or a sweet and innocent looking girl who's actually a total bitch. That isn't to say it's always a bad thing disguised as something good. The opposite is also true. The monster with a kind heart, or the grizzled old man full or warmth and knowledge.

Weird sounding analogies aside, the way I see things is that outer appearances of things will seem to be deceptive but offer a different outlook entirely. This may mean that instances of suffering or woes may later become points for learning or a feeling of "really dodging a bullet there"

It seems to suggest a steady moving forward but also a looking back onto things with a greater perspective of clarity.

In normal people words, keep moving forward but don't forget to learn from your mistakes, things should be alright if you can see things for what they really are or with a more nuanced perspective.

This is kind of a strange question but I did my best.

Got the feeling of time, a clock, like a pocketwatch. The passage of time, waiting and nostalgia. Sorry this one is a bit short but for whatever reason I'm not getting a whole lot to work with here.

It seems peace is a matter of time, and perspective. If you cannot look on the past and future with the same reverence then what is it you're really looking for. More of a philosophical question than a reading, but ask yourself if you're living in the past, enjoying the moment, or waiting for better times to come.

Perhaps such treatments will be helpful, but they won't ever be the complete end or cessation of those conditions. They will be helpful perhaps but only in certain ways. Palliative or alleviating perhaps but not an ultimate solution or cure. It may be helpful for a moment of clarity, or relief from your suffering or difficulties, but the chance of relapse or remission is always going to be present. Try not to let it get to you. Keep seeking a solution, there will be one, but it most likely will not be 100% effective however.

I get the feeling of a covert operation, but one you take in person. Oddly enough the image i get is one of a cloaked figure slipping someone a note of paper in person.

This means to me that a kind of direct approach at face value, with a subtle or more nuanced telling is perhaps the easiest way to do things. Honestly I'm trying to think this one over a bit, if you have any idea what it could mean by all means feel free to interpret it in a way that you understand more readily.

But the parts I get are that it's done in person, but despite that instead of a direct conversation, there is a close interaction with a subtle information exchange. this may suggest a hanging out to gauge things and relying on a text, or Skype, or snapchat, Instagram thing or whatever you kids are into these days to seal the deal.

A tough one, but I tried my best, I don;t claim to be perfect but hopefully it at least offered some insight.

I get the feeling of a large field. An empty place, but also one of great action. It feels to me like a place where someone holds memories of a better time, or a homesick kind of feeling. Like a battlefield where soldiers sit and think of home perhaps.

What I get from this is that perhaps someone in your past is thinking of you in a new light. An old friend perhaps or a close acquaintance may be beginning to consider the change for starting something romantically. This may also be someone who's no longer really a part of your life looking back and thinking of you as "the one that got away"

Regardless it seems like someone out there is interested, keep your options open and don't be afraid to take new perspectives on people you may have never thought of that way before. You may even be pleasantly (or unpleasantly) suprised at who shows an interest in you.

There's still lots of hope for you, the only real sign of defeat is when you've lost control of your life and you're doing readings for anonymous strangers online. So don't give up. You still have a lot of potential.

What can I do to improve my mood and energy level?

Is this something I should be concerned about, or do I just have some seasonal affective disorder which will improve with spring?

Is this due to circumstance and should be solved through making changes like my choice of who I spend time with for example?

Obligatory love reading harassment aside, I get the feeling that he'll be a real "man's man" kind of guy. The general masculine and almost to the point of humourous idea of a "real guy". He'll be the kind of man who may be a bit stubborn at times but has his heart in the right place. A real "by the book" kind of fellow and one who is focused of doing the right thing.

Kind of like a cowboy or a knight, his practices may seem a bit archaic by today's standards of things, but his adherence to value and objective notions of reality are somewhat charming if not a bit naive. The best example I can think of is a more open minded Hank Hill kind of dude. Sexy but in the pragmatic down to earth, straight shooter kind of way.

I get the feeling of a wound bandaged (by a rather cute nurse actually) but despite the curing it still needs time to heal. To me this seems to mean pretty straightforwardly that you've been forgiven but the healing process still needs some time. Maybe they haven't directly addressed it or told you that it's forgiven, but this other person seems willing to let bygones be bygones, it just needs a bit of time to fully heal.

It's difficult to be hurt by someone close, or to hurt someone close to you. All you can do now is wait it out and hope that the strength of your bond will pull you through. I'm sure it will work out eventually, It just needs a bit of time to heal is all.

You could always find a lonely late night reader on /x/. They're the kind of guy who'll treat you right.

I'll do my best to get you a good reading, despite my ironic "attempts" to hit on people who ask about love stuff, they're actually my favourite kinds of readings to do.

I get the feeling of a person waiting at a train station. They're carrying with them a large amount of baggage and are bundled up heavily to avoid the cold. To me this seems to suggest a few things. One is that the train has arrived but the passenger still stands by the door. The heavy baggage is well, a burden to carry, something weighing you down and making the decision difficult. The heavy coat seems to suggest to me that you aren't entirely comfortable or open about things in the circumstance, you want to conceal and be kept warm and safe behind a layer.

Basically to me it seems as though you have some distance between the two of you, that is to say rather the issue is one of personal reflection, do you feel as though you can be honest and open with this guy in question, or do you feel in some way limited? Seek a type of destination where you feel free and open to express yourself fully and share your burdens. The choice is yours really, you could step aboard the train and set down your bags and take off the jacket, or wait for a different train altogether.
