Lost in a forest

Just woke up from a reocurring dream. I'm walking through this forest, and it's usually about afternoon light when the dream begins. It starts out looking like a place I've been before to where I'd know how to get around and it gradually becomes a different sort of environment where I'd be lost, and I'm practically tripping over these huge tree roots sticking out of the ground. I'm following this person off in the distance, I don't know who, but she's running and I'm tripping, trying to keep up. So I close my eyes and manage to run, without hinderence, at a high speed, following her voice. There's great adrenelin rush, almost a feeling of ecstacy. Suddenly I stop, as I can't hear her anymore, and have this feeling of dread, like something's wrong. I open my eyes and I'm lost, alone in the forest. The girl's no longer there and it's really dark, so I begin to panic. Shortly after that I wake up shaking.
