My omnipotence makes me think I'm omnipotent. I haven't proven it to myself yet. It's proven itself to me on several separate occasions and in several different types of ways. I don't will myself to know that I'm omnipotent, I quietly ponder and hope to some day know the truth about everything I may ever be curious about. This passive desire to know the truth is the reason my omnipotence proves its existence to me. I'm not ready to prove it beyond that. the best things i've found to give me hope are:
1. the power and peace that forgiveness gives me. the more i can accept their imperfections, the more peace i have. i don't excuse the "evil" that humans do but when i acknowledge that we are all imperfect creatures, i can see how beautiful it is when people do make an effort to be kind, loving, generous and accepting. it also allows me to be a little gentler on myself.
2. the reality that much of the nastiness in humanity is either out of desperation or ignorance rather than true malice. we are weak, fragile, frightened creatures who generally understand how insignificant we are in the universe and we often lash out in anger for that reason.
