Each band has a different focus. Tool is a general self-exploration. A Perfect Circle tends to be an exploration of human depravity. Puscifer sounds like an odd blend of the two with a little more focus on collaboration with other artists.

"Hooker With A Penis" seems to be a response to a fan accusing the band of selling out after the release of "Sober." It may also refer to Fuck You Buddy/So Long Sucker game invented in 1950 by John Forbes Nash that requires making agreements with other players which are ultimately unenforceable. Finally, there's a reference to Genesis 1:28 ("be fruitful and multiply")

There is much to be said about the music. a personal favorite of mine being disgustipated in the debut album Undertow. The repetitious and obsessive nature of the line "life feeds on life" and "this is neccasary" gives a spin on how we are lacking sanity in our society, on top of having the mentality of a serial killer that views everything as expendable. Also focusing on animal abuse and factory farming very much in the song with the sounds of sheep, pigs, and screaming animals. Another thing to note is the introduction of "reverend Maynard" preaching about justifying all of this death through religious beliefs. What is most chilling is the very very end of the song after several minutes of silence, maynard landlord at the time gives a chilling narrative. "
