Recommend me a laptop strictly for school?
I already have a W520 at home, so I'm not looking to buy something expensive.
Just want something cheap and lightweight. Something like a macbook, except not apple and much much more cheap.

A used Thinkpad is always a good buy in my opinion. I got a T420 for $85 on eBay, threw an SSD in it, and installed Xubuntu and it runs great.
