I don't know what to do anons, I've spent enough money to get my games run at 60 FPS at least, but I just can't achieve it. I wanna play games in "Epic" settings (or "high", whatever y'all wanna call it) but I keep staying on the 40s FPS mark.
What should I change/upgrade? This are my computer specs, hope this helps:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 Six-Core
GPU: Radeon RX 460 Graphics
RAM: 8.0 GB
>inb4 I don't know how to build a gaming PC
An RX 460 is a budget card thats only expected to get around 40 fps on high settings(depending on the game), if you lower your settings a bit you should be able to manage a constant 60, you're gonna need to overclock that card or sell it and buy a better one. Your CPU and RAM are just fine. You should have spend less on the CPU and more on the GPU, try reading the sticky in >>>/g/pcbg for recommendations
1get msi afterburner/other resource monitor ingame
2take a look at what is at 100%
3upgrade that part
4profit
also yeah 99% its the gpu

new GPU or overclock your current one. RAM is not a factor (it could bottleneck in other ways if you have a low clock speed because of the ryzen architecture, but that would manifest in load times, not framerate.)
