Boils came before it. They didn't cause it but they also don't help.
They are horrible and painful. I wake i every morning with puss to scrape off.

Yeesh. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Unfortunately I'm not a doctor, so I have nothing helpful to say about that. :/

I will say that, for me, it helps a bit to accept the fact that what I feel is normal. I've struggled with just not really knowing where my feelings come from, so sometimes it helps to step back and say, "oh, something bad happened. it makes sense that I would be upset."

One of my own best friends just stopped speaking to me a couple months ago, and I have no idea why. I've tried to reach out to them but they just shut me out completely. And it hurts, because we shared a lot of our burdens with each other by talking, and I've had to endure several things without their support. So I've been sad a lot lately, but I understand why, and that helps me to feel a little more at peace with it.

I suggest /adv/. The posters there are in the right mindset to listen to people. You could try creating a "depression general thread", it is a problem that affects many people on this website.

I hope it is. I don't have much personal experience with anxiety, but I understand how it takes all of your worst thoughts and screams them at you, louder than anything else. Like a fight with your own brain. Maybe it would help to stock up on some ammunition for the fight, you know? One of the things I've done in the past when I've been particularly depressed is to make a gratitude list. I know it sounds corny, and that's because it is, but it actually helps. I had to get reeeally basic with it too, like:
-I'm grateful I have legs to walk with
-I'm grateful I have eyes to see with
-I'm grateful that I've had the experience of eating steak before

Perspective is important. You may have heard someone say that without bad times, the good times wouldn't be as good; it's also true that the good times make the bad times not quite so bad.

/adv/ is slower than fucking /r9k/, and /r9k/ is already slow as fuck considering it's an everybody posts nobody replies kinda board. Whereas /adv/ is just people going to tell you to buck up and then you either DO (unlikely) or you get defensive and everybody leaves the thread angry that you just want to wallow

honestly, just lurk /r9k/ for threads where you can get more intimate or where everyone's wallowing so you can feel together. It does the mind good to get it off your chest but if nobody talks to you, it's not helping you any. Fortunately for you, I'm depressed atm so I'll be sure to feel your feels if you post and we can hug n shit
