I'm looking for any recommendations on a high-speed motion camera. Specifically, what something would cost that could record a few seconds of 1,000 FPS video at I-don't-care resolution (as in, it could literally record 100p and it would be fine) for purposes of timing a visual delay to a millisecond (roughly). Most of what I've found is professional still cameras with a hefty price tag that also happen to record video, but is that the best/cheapest option? Note: I'm a complete noob with this, photography/film isn't even a hobby.
There's tons of sites/boards on photography, including our own /p/. But I've found a lot less on motion cameras -- no board, no Stack Exchange site, no dedicated wiki, nothing. Plenty of outdated articles and sites that want to sell you something, though. Help me /wsr/, you're my only hope!
