I am taking mouse recommendations.
Desired features:
>buttons on the side to go back on webpages
>must be wired; wireless is totally unacceptable and unnegotiable
>decent ergonomics/comfortable to use
>good quality for the price
I am willing to spend $10-$25, but I am willing to spend more if I really like something.

jesus christ anon get a job and buy some fancy shit
I'd suggest paying a bit more, if you can afford it. There's a noticeable leap in quality between $10 mice and $50 dollar mice, not just in features but in durability. The really cheap ones tend to wear out in use.
I've had a Logitech G400 for a few years, and I've been pretty happy with it.

This. The only sturdy mice you can find in the $10-$20 range are extremely bare bones, talking 2 buttons and a clickable scroll-wheel. This is actually my favorite mouse that I've used for like 10 years now: http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/122033040932?lpid=82&chn=ps&ul_noapp=true
Can only find them on eBay now, but I bought a half dozen of these a few years back and I'm still haven't burned through the first one after 4 years.
Animes with Overpowered MC?
Looking for a good list.

Is there any way to get japanese music? I'm an oldfag that only remembers the irc channels were good for that stuff but I don't know the new channels (if there are any left).
I'm particularly looking for RIP SLYME's and Asian Kung-Fu Generation's newest albums.
Thanks!
What.cd and other private trackers
If you need it now, try scrounging up what you can get from bakabt, rutracker, nyaa, and various Google results
>>162771
I had completely forgotten about rutracker! Those russians have everything (though I found RIP SLYME's latest on japanese blog, who would've thought), thanks!
what.cd always seemed like too much of a hassle to join.
>>162776
There's also Jpopsuki.
I don't know if their applications are still open, but that's an easier private tracker to get into. If they're not open, you might have to wait a while since they were just opened a few weeks ago.
Also https://nipponsei.minglong.org/ has a lot of anime music, if you want that. You'll have to use IRC to get the files though.
I'm looking for a short animated film from the 30s. It is set in conflict that is simmler to world war 1.
This?

Can anybody recommend me a good fantasy anime without the otaku stuff like Konosuba and Re:Zero? Something like the Tales/Final Fantasy series. Would prefer something newer in the 2000-10s but I also welcome some good 90s if available.

I need some apps/websites for tracking media consumption.
For example, I have Atarashii! but I'd prefer an app that used anidb instead of MAL
Also need one for movies, TV, and possibly porn, more specifically JAV. I have a couple of TV cataloging apps from f-droid but they're ugly and not very feature intensive.
So if you know of anything, enlighten me kudasai
I use Taiga, a desktop application that can synchronize with MAL or Hummingbird. The dev has plans to expand it to work with more sites but it's dependent on those sights having friendly APIs, or so he claims. Anyway, main advantage to Taiga is that it automatically updates your anime list by detecting your media player and reading the files you're watching and matching them to the database you're synchronized with.
For movies I use Letterboxd, which has a circlejerky community on /tv/. It's that or imdb but I fucking hate imdb so I had to pick something else. Good luck finding one for porn.
>>162708
>I'd prefer an app that used anidb
Good bloody luck.
Anidb makes it so difficult to code against their API, than no-one bothers. They're terrified someone will walk off with their data, even though:
- it's been independently reimplemented more than twice now.
- you can just hook the SQL driver in anidb-o-matic and extract the whole database from there
- Their "database" doesn't even have Inferno Cop in it.
>>162987
Yeah I originally tried to maintain a list on AniDB but their database is lacking titles and the site itself is just unwieldy. Not that MAL is super great or anything, but at least I can hook it up to Taiga which has a really nice interface.
does anyone recognize the game in pic related?
On the screen? It's Rune Scape.

thanks! gonna play it with my AK on the screen

I need a (free) program/browser extension to download all the images in the link taht you get if you click the thumbnails, like SAVEALLIMAGES extension does, if it hasn't watermark. The original images are hi-res photos and the thumbnails are low-res pics, so they're different files.
Things I've already tried:
-HTTrack
-Bulk Image Downloader (both program and extension)
-Save All Images (works but watermark)
-Canapy's Image Downloader (Chrome ext)
-Download them all (firefox ext)
-Thumbs Down (Firefox ext)
Thanks anons
I just use the Save Images add-on in firefox. You can open images, by selecting or filtering, if there are links to them on a page. You can then save images from that tab.
If it's for 4chan, try Ychan
I use Neodownloader
Hey /wsr/ about to buy myself a new computer set up, I'm gonna be gaming 4K more than likely overclocking. Anyone know if these parts are all 100% compatible, link is the parts:

Looks fine. Seems like you're overpaying for some stuff but I don't know if that's just Australian prices.
>>162682
Yeah it's mainly Aussie prices, shit that's like 500 US is $1000 here.
I'd get an extra set of fans to get rid of the stock Hyper 212 Evo Cooler master fan. The Heatsink works great but I had to get me a set of nice silent Corsair ones that ran faster and nicer. It would probably only be like twenty bucks more. That way you could also fuck around with push/pull configuration which doesn't help that much more but if you only use one fan on the cooler you can put the other fan on the case.
Hello! I'm getting a lenovo thinkpad with windows 7 on Monday, any suggestions on some solid antivirus, music, or add on software? I would ask /g/ but I checked the sticky and was directed here instead.
>Windows 7
Consider upgrading to 10 when you get it.
>Anti-virus
Malwarebytes / Spybot S&D
>Music
Spotify / Foobar
>Add-on software
Eh?

>Consider upgrading to 10
Don't listen to this guy, there's no reason to consider it at all.
>>162651
>windows 7
Install gentoo.
>solid antivirus
You won't need an antivirus if you install gentoo.
>music
I like Audacious. Clementine is fine too.
>add on software
Depends on what you want.
For videos, I'd go with mpv.
For ebooks, calibre.
For comics/image folders, mcomix.
Firefox as a browser, with (let me check my currently installed addons) Add to search Bar, Classic Theme Restorer, Flash Video Downloader, Greasemonkey, HTTPS Everywhere, MEGA ff addon, uMatrix, uBlock Origin (for whenever I turn off uMatrix yet I still want no ads) and user agent switcher. I'd also recommend, for greasemonkey, loadletter's 4chanX, Anti-Adblock Killer, ViewTube and Bypass Youtube Age Verification.
qBitTorrent as torrent client.
HexChat (or xchat) for IRC.
Gimp with g'mic and gimp-gap for image manipulation.
ffmpeg for multimedia conversion.
Geany for programming.
LibreOffice for, well, office shit, I suppose.
... I don't know what else to recommend. Depends on what you want to do.
