Honestly I'm not sure if Asura's Wrath wouldn't have been better off as an anime.
Not sure because while obviously the gameplay is pretty bad, the QTE stuff kind of (emphasis on kind of) makes it better. I'm not sure if it'd be the same without them, but it'd be interesting to see what the game is like when you'd just watch it without any QTE notations and sounds.

Patapon 3 is different from the first 2. it has a lot more grinding and instead of building an army you get 4 guys. The music is a lot better IMO and the bpm is 120 instead of 114.

Personally I'd start with 1 and 2 before 3. But I might be biased because I started playing since the first game and wasn't really on board with the changes 3 introduced. all 3 are solid games anyway.

That particular match was from a silly event held recently "Fight Night".
One match that night had a few high/top tier CV's vs 16 T3 Fubuki's (Tons of torps) with the CV's only allowed to use Torps/Ramming and not their guns.

T10 Shinano, T7 Taihou, and T3 Hoshou are shown there. And when I was watching replays of the night, that particular scene looked like a family of whales vs whalers.

Depends on what you're wanting them to do really.

Germany tends to have great range and penetration and is CL till T7
Haven't played their CA's much, however your penetration rating is such that you can usually deal damage to BB's more consistently than US/Japan. Their T5 & T6 CL's have access to Magnetic Torpedoes (Damage dealt based on distance to detonation point vs requiring dead on hits. Can be brutal against Subs when they'd have been near misses with normal torps. But at max detonation range they hardly do damage but can damage modules.)

US gets CA's at T5+ with some options to go CL/CA at certain tiers (7&8 I believe). Their CA's tend to be more like mini-battleships with great defenses & 2ndries. Usually a lot of scout planes, but not always as good vision.

Japanese CA's tends to have the best vision but not as well armored compared to US. Their CL's can be brutal to a destroyer if allowed to get in range and spot the target. But of course CL's don't have much armor and so the DD's allies can remove them quickly. Think Glass Cannon

British if you want crazy guns and anti-submarines but you tend to lack AA and torps.

Japanese for spotting range/disguise, torps and AA And your guns tend to be positioned towards the back half so you can fire while tactically retreating and offer more firepower while being a smaller profile.

US is general all around I believe? Haven't played them as much.

German DD's have the best durability/HP of the nations but that is offset by usually having the worst radar, and being outgunned at most tiers and poor AA. HOWEVER they also have the largest torpedo capacity AND are the only destroyers with access to Magnetic Torpedoes which makes them excellent at sub removal without having to commit to a depth charge run which would open them up to being shot at, or counter torps from subs.

TL;DR Game's really balanced. no real "Best" or "Shit" line. national/historical interest guide you!

Eh, I don't think it's super bad. Personas are the weakest of the group of SMT games in terms of setting and style, most certainly, but there's still some pretty decent plot in there.

Battle system is fairly interesting too, if often kind of punishing. Though the Personas are generally pretty damn easy, as far as SMT games go.

They share similarities, but it is like comparing Call of Duty and Battlefield.
In this case, WoWS=COD while Battlefield would be SO.

WoWS is an RNG-fest in a slower paced environment that requires little actual player input. AA is taken care of for you, secondaries are taken care of for you, there is a system in place to have auto-pilot kick in to avoid islands you might hit, and torpedoes have a lock on target to see where to fire to hit.
You also play more tank-like in WoWS since that game is built around "Nose to the enemy and angle to have an advantage against a broadside! Broadside=BAD!" despite actual naval practices in that day would be you WANT to be broadside to a target that is nose on because it means you get to bring all your guns to bear, along with your heavily armored sides.

Steel Ocean is more like Navyfield 1 got with Battlestations games and some WoT thrown in.
Steel Ocean has a lot more mechanics. You control your secondaries, main guns, ship course, AA and no torpedo-aim-assist.
And broadsides have the advantage like they properly should. Each ship fulfills roles and has strengths and weaknesses but skill can overcome some of that. For example: DD's don't have BB gunfire capabilities but have a ton more stealth and spotting abilities, and Depth charges to remove submarines. However they have torps and so can ambush and such to remove BB's. Or the DD can spot so allies remove target

And since Steel Ocean came out before WoWS (By almost a year, but China only) SO wouldn't be the one that copied.

The grind in WoWS is horrendous, if you're familiar with WoT/WP. SO's grind is laughably easy by comparison. WoWS has "Shit" lines while SO is relatively balanced overall. And no soviet bias or constant need to open your wallet to even progress like WG. And unlike WG which seems to forget the british navy really exists, SO has four lines of their ships (Battleship,Carrier,Destroyer, & BattleCruiser).

I've sunk a ridiculous amount of time into both WoT and WoWS and I can't refute anything you say.

But, I will say the grind is a lot better in WS than it is in Tanks. However there have been some real problems with WG treating the EU players like shit, needless nerfs to Tiers 4-5 Carriers that made the Jap Carriers completely useless due to their almost openly malicious matchmaking.
Let's not get even into the fact that the game still doesn't have Royal Navy Battleships in it yet.

I've never put a single dime into the game though, so I'd argue that you don't need to open your wallet to play. But, you basically have to accept that if you haven't found something at Tiers 5 and 6 that you're having fun with, uninstall.

It's the same shit as Assassin's Creed: The Ones That Aren't About Sailing. However, it's by far the best asscreed to date, with more polished mechanics, about the same level of exploration or better, no stupid "modern" storyline and more personality (I've always felt AC is very bland, again apart from the ones about sailing because it's hard to have pirates and not give them personality, but the orcs in SOM are really goofy while still giving the impression of being very brutal and intimidating), so if you like that kind of thing and yet somehow aren't burned out on it at this point Shadow of Mordor is absolutely worth it. I have only 10 hours in it, even less than the other anon, but if I hadn't spent about 100 combined hours on AC1 and 2 I would probably have at least that much in SOM.

On the other hand if you're a Middle Earth nerd and get offended when something butchers its lore ignore the above, you'll hate it.

It's a pretty famous game as that other anon stated, and it basically kickstarted Arkane, because no one knows what the fuck Arx Fatalis is (which is understandable because in the end, Dark Messiah is better). Every time I team up with someone it usually happens in early to mid game, only to watch them tragically lose their lives in a firefight with some other player and I avenge them and then keep moving on.

It's pretty trippy getting to know someone as you travel and loot houses and watch them die at your feet and never seeing them again. That's what makes this game amazing
