So I managed to figure out how to animate the squares when scrolling from page to page, thanks to the anon from the previous thread.

I like stock but I feel like I could do something more. Icons are Stock UI and the wallpaper is from Tapet.

What kind of style can you recommend? What should I change but still retain functionality? I still want to be more stock-ish and maybe Material (but not massively colorful). Can anyone share a similar setup and maybe say how you made it?

Nope, nothing. The set is 'material' and the function is definitely correct. It still plays/pauses songs just fine, I'm just stuck with the play icon sticking that way without changing into the pause icon. Maybe I'll try restarting my phone.

What settings do you guys use in ffmpeg to make your webms? No matter what it ends up looking like it's like 10FPS but both the source and output files are 30FPS.

Anyway, found out that my sidebars can be opened on top of each other. Maybe if they were narrower than half the screen I'd have a use for that but I don't. Tapping on her head opens up a journal that I write in to keep track of the money I spend and general things that go on.

I got my phone wallpaper from here, I got my desktop wallpaper on safebooru. Other wallpapers I've picked up from Imgur, if you search there are tons and tons of wallpaper dumps with hundreds of wallpapers in each of them. If you dig through all of those you're sure to find something. There's also a few dedicated wallpaper sites but I can't remember any of the addresses off the top of my head.

I use my phone alot and use alot of apps and I still have a nice klwp setup, it actually compliments my functionality.
This is however only the case if you bother to mold your own klwp setup around your own usage and not get some silly preset / other anon's exported setup.
So spend 10 mins one weekend and you'll be able to make your homescreen look lit af and organized whilst still being able to do everything and to some extent even better.

Make a komponent, add the background and the outline if you want, then add an overlap group to work as a main menu, afterwards add an overlap group for every icon in the main group and a button to return to the main, then add the icons for your apps and boom!

So I need some help:

I'm in the process of getting together a music player to work with KLWP. So far, it plays and pauses music when I tap the icon for 'play', and it can go to the next/previous track when I tap on the respective icons.

Problem is the play icon doesn't change into the pause button when a track is playing. It's not my coding that went wrong, either; when I load a preset made by someone else that has a perfectly functional music player, I find the same problem. The track information doesn't change when the music changes, either. It's stuck as it is even when I change the track. Progress bar stays stuck too. Things only seem to refresh after I completely restart my phone.

Any ideas where I'm going wrong?

Thanks! I've never actually learned how to KLWP. What I have in my webm there is just Total Launcher. The folders that slide in are what TL calls windows. I have some thin strips pinned to the sides, if I swipe sideways on one of those then the windows get called in. If I swipe somewhere else I'll switch pages like normal.

Probably a 5? It's not terrible, but I feel it's too cluttered. There're elements that I like for sure, like that subtle progression bar for the music on the top. The clock's pretty cool, too.

Now for the bits that I wasn't too keen on:
The music player really distracts from the rest of the screen. Maybe think about having that on another screen altogether. The icon labels have got to go, too. Personally, I don't using the dock for anything; I feel it restricts what you can do with your icon placements.
