IMT #565 - THIS IS THE OFFICIAL IMAGE MODIFICATION THREAD

I require some help, /wg/ I don't know where else to ask and I've tried googling it but have failed. I'll try to explain it best I can.

I'd like to be able to input a set resolution (eg, 1280x720p) and the program/site will have a box of that resolution on top of any image I've uploaded so I can use that box to crop out a 1280x720 part of the image. Say I have a 1920x1080p image but only want 1280x720, I can use that box, move it around to gauge where I'd like it then boom, it cuts everything else out.

I'm not sure if paint or paint.net or some other free program can do this. Hopefully I've explained it.

Sorry if this is off-topic since it isn't a request as such. But this is my last place I have for this.

the problem with square images that dont have croppable features is that theyre generally un-stretchable via cloning. So you mostly have to settle for the "lay way out" that doesnt involve an hour of the clone and heal brush. This image is even worse since the main feature takes up the whole center space and there really isnt room to extend the background

I also lied, this is totally cloneable with some time, it just looks fucking dumb because the room is in a weird perspective that's hard to replicate and the skeltors fucking in the middle look odd.
