Allposters is having a 70% off custom photo prints today. I have the choice of canvas and standard print (like movie poster prints).

I realize the photo size is the major factor in deciding the size. I don't really have an exact size I want it in. I've looked everywhere for a HQ photo of Agnes Lum but she was a model from the 70's-80's so I don't have much of a choice.

This is the only other one I was considering for a print but it's even smaller.

We can resize easy, if you're doing poster print odds are it's a 24x36 (inch) poster with 300 dpi print res, if someone else doesn't take this we'll resize to 24x36 with 300 dpi or ppi so there's no loss in quality. Resizing it that large will reduce quality slightly compared to viewing on a PC but we can make sure it isn't a blurry mess. Just lemme shower first

Just checked and their largest size for prints is 16" by 20". Unfortunately, their smaller sizes for rectangular prints are the same aspect ratio so I'll have to cut off some of the picture (from the bottom preferably so it doesn't cut off her face or head).

A standard print would be better than a canvas in this situation right? I've heard that canvas is best suited for art. And it is my understanding that the printing process for canvas wouldn't look too good for an actual photo like this.

The edge was a little hard to do, but if you're monitor is the same resolution as the image it should look fine. It was so late because I had some real life responsibilities for a minute there.

so the last image had no scaling issues because the beach could be cloned and extended to fit the aspect ratio, this image had to cut off part of her lower half because her right hand couldnt be duped to fit the size

I'm at the mercy of the 70% off coupon and apparently it doesn't apply to frames. A framed print costs a fortune, with the coupon only applying to the print and nothing more.

I have some old 20" by 30" frames that I could use. I think I'll have to go with that instead of the 16" by 20". Or if you think that 20" by 30" is too big for the small originals to handle then feel free to disregard.

Alright. Yeah I know I'm coming off as serious but I really do just try and follow the guidelines. I'll keep it in mind when requesting. I did put a request over there by mistake and its been hours and no one took it there so I took it as a video games not being anime sort of deal. I generally prefer this IMT. Things seem to be done here better and even when I have requested things there that had an anime adaptation they would jump kn me for it being a video game fieat and foremost. I liked the second one a lot. The contrast is a bit higher and the picture isn't as dark anymore.
