I make my color schemes from the image I'm going to use as my wallpaper, you do this in gimp or a website.

since i have a scrubzone OS and i am too lazy to customize it to the extent of some of these other dudes i just rely on color theory, mostly. that and experience with misc CEV inducers.

in terms of openbox? i used it on an ancient distro back in like 08 - 10. my experience with it is indifferent at best, since it did the job. the themes for it were eh but that was just me being jaded at the time.

nothing like the old GTK theme gperfection and its icons. a beautiful clash of retro grime. idek if its functional anymore.

anyway in terms of colors, you can always find a photo you like and use online palette generators. i just make shit up until it looks interesting.

I also just installed Rainmeter. I'm trying to figure out how to get a temperature monitor for the CPU/Mobo/GPU but I don't see it in the vanilla copy.

It seems like all of the tiling wms for windows on the ricing guide haven't been updated in a year+ and don't agree with windows 10, anyone have anything that has well documented configuration options, is at the very least semi-actively updated, and has multiple desktop support.

Tried out bug.n and had the most success with it, but for some reason, it refuses to take the configuration file into account.

All I want to do is edit my Windows 10 theme and have a basic minimalist black file explorer. You'd think that would be easy, but all of these themes I'm finding are extremely complex.

Had to give up my laptop to my parents to temporarily replace their broken desktop and now I had to give up on secondary monitor because it gives me dizziness for some reason.

Life is pain. How do you people work with one monitor? I feel like suffocating.

I've made myself a nice theme in bblean but I can't find a way to modify the windows file Explorer. So I use Ranger in rxvt while I find a solution.

I'm using his i3 config as well as his terminal colour scheme.
The font is Fira Mono.
I also recomend the i3 option "hide_edge_borders both" so you don't have borders with only one thing open.

If u are using bblean why are you still using explorer as a file explorer?

I'm using bbzero with total commander as my file browser, totalcmd isn't that much customizable but it's got tons of features.

if u want really minimal file browser use explorer++
