It's pretty neat. A little buggy right now but that's to be expected because it's still in beta. Nowhere near as buggy as iOS 10 though. Biggest issue I've had with Sierra so far is when trying to watch videos. Sometimes the screen will still dim and turn itself off after a set period of time which shouldn't happen during video playback.

Is there a way, with windows 10, that I can make the desktop icons go fully transparent after a set amount of time, and when with a click or similar on the desktop they go fully visible?

I'm not that smart with this shit.
all I see are files that wont run so I set the application to run it in Terminal which does nothing.
There's just a lot of files that I don't know what to do with. Just folders with random stuff.
I'm guessing you need an application to put these folders in to run or manually do it yourself?

I made this pape a few months ago and tinkered around with some basic rainmeter stuff. I like to keep it a little bit minimalistic, but not overly so.
The green, black, and white match my tower and LEDs, and I enjoy making honeycomb icons for games every now and then. Those are what I play most often, or most recently.

just change the theme from personalization, if u want to get rid of whole skin files delete them from c:/windows/resources/theme/yourtheme/, if u installed a theme pack delete it from add or remove programs.
