All Izumi Takemoto games (and interactive movies) are great for cute girls. Loopop Cube is about the only one that is playable without knowing Japanese, though. Even then you loose understanding the sillycute cutscenes.

This is probably the best real-time console-based 2D animation I've seen. It's like many PCE cutscenes (except this one is on the Saturn) just more of it and they're moving more too. Interactive movie with no FMV in sight. Story is really cute too.

Plus, the later games have a better system. My favourite is the Saturn Madou Monogatari, which is very playable even without knowing runes. You only need translations for the gear names, which are hilarious - the attack weapons for Arle are magical tiaras, while for Rulue they are knuckledusters.

It's not a dungeon crawler though, but if you want that, there is also Waku Puyo Dungeon, which is an overhead crawler with randomly generated maps and item crafting (the best gears are only available by combining existing ones in specific order, and they are insanely powerful from what I remember). It is also difficult as fuck since the game measures how much food you have eaten, and if you get hungry, you will do 1% damage.

Princess Crown has been the most disappointing Saturn game I've ever played next to Marvel Super Heroes.

The game is just slow paced as all fuck, and both the backgrounds and music was meh. The spritework and the cooking system are the only noteworthy things about the game.
