JWittz is usually funny but his content often isn't very groundbreaking. I like him but I can see why people wouldn't.

The Dex is good, comfortable pace and Aled jokes are kino. When they speculate it can feel kinda game-theory-like, which may be intentional as Alex wrote for them for a bit.

Not really poketubers, but the Game Grumps pokemon LPs have had a pretty good history. Emerald and Firered are good because Arin knows enough about Pokemon to not suck unintentionally and yet will ignore it for the keks. They also happen to avoid the so-called "Deep Grumps" where they spout neo-hippie feelgood bullshit that many of their longer plays end up falling into. Art Academy is superb, as it not only has Barry and Ross as they normally are, but also has them contrasted as a genwunner versus a fan of the whole series. Haven't watched the Sun playthrough yet.

I subbed to him around when he had about 600 subs and he wasn't so bad at first. It was when he switched over to doing it for a living that really killed it.

The best kind of gaming channel in general, in my opinion at least, is someone who admits to not being the best and accepting help to learn. It makes you feel like you and the one you're watching are in on it together. Which he did for a while.

Then he jumped on the twice daily video bandwagon which eventually saw him cheating and whatnot like most of them do then. That's not fun to watch. Especially when they still don't know what they're doing but you're suddenly facing attacks for correcting them.
