Im really enjoying playing this. There are so many pokemon to choose from that Im struggling to find space for them all. Ive had a few temporary pokemon. Aside from my starter, I think Red Star and Stanley are definitely permanent additions. Im liking Bobbo as well its absolutely adorable.

Caroline is very early (around the second gym town), Foryuu is a legendary and requires 8 gym badges

that said Pengas is fairly common on wonder trade

do note: both Pengas and Caroline suck and near the end the game isn't forgiving enough to justify taking them unless you overlevel heavily

Caroline is actually pretty good. I used one in my playthrough and it cleaned house easily. It starts out with a pathetic movepool, but later on it gets a bunch of good stuff. Not to mention it has decent attacking and speed stats.

Just a suggestion. It's not perfect (it's bad but no worse than the current one) and I'm no artist I just thought that the axe was a nice reference and that it needed something to walk on since it has 111 Speed.

Issue with the last version: The cops showed up after the league, yet no cheat was used.
Jewipede can be captured from the first visit to Animango, but it's registered as a legendary mon, so the game thought it was injected into the save.

There is no need for grinding in Clover, unless:
your team is full of shitmons
you have 3+ mons of same type in your team
you are being triggered by enemies that have mons on higher level than you
you have no idea how to use status moves like willowisp, thunder wave, leech seed, toxic etc.
you just suck.
you play on set
There are many ways to beat the game without grinding, you just have adapt your team/movesets to the situation.
There are only a few battles in Clover that might require grinding
1. standard Brock if he hits your team for SE, but grinding in this case will take you little to no time. or you can just trade for the praunch
2. Freddie's Tripsius
This is probably the hardest battle in the game, but he doesn't open with it, so you can do stuff like boosting your stats, setting up light screen etc. to give you an edge. Or if he has a huge advantage, just get something that won't get OHKO'd and slap a status on it.
3. E4 and Champ fights
In this stage, you have a full team of balanced mons, and you should be able to tech some TM/move relearner stuff to get rid of your problems.

Honestly the only times I actually grind are before the E4 and on my way to Esfores. And I only grind there because usually I get 1 or 2 new team members on the routes unlocked after the Karma Hideout and the trainers tend to be not enough to level them up on sufficiently. Sure, maybe getting a level 10 Praeteur to add to the team at that point of the game may not have been the smartest idea, but you can't stop me.

I didn't cheat but it let me get some of the legendaries before beating the Elite Four. Then I beat the Elite Four and it said I cheated to get them. Is this a known glitch?

As long as you won't get OHKO'd, it's all manageable. Just use Rock Tomb to get speed advantage and revenge kill/use some random route shitmons to lower it's defense and then revenge kill it.

Just beat it, whenever I felt like I had an advantage I'd get Paralyse hax'd or my Will o Wisp would miss, landed a WoW on the last mon and stalled out using super potions lel. My team probably isn't very good for this point in the game though.

try replacing nutzboltz with a fleespecs, it's a spacial attacking monster. Also, honrade isn't the best choice. Try grabbing a manatank considering you don't have a water type (make sure you get pure power on it)

Multi hit moves such as bullet seed aren't able to get through sturdy for some reason. Once it would kill it just stops and says the Pokemon "endured the hit". My dubus with skill link only got 4 hits because sturdy kicked in, but thr 5th one should have came in and killed
