a scanner for a huge city costs like 50-100 US $/month and it's significantly less for tiny rural towns, all you need is 10-20 people and it'll cost next to nothing if they all donate equally.

Our Telegram got like 800 people and I paid 1$ for like 6+ months worth of scanner (no apps involved, it's just a web page, so it won't compromise your account), with IV's/PL's/moves/pokestops/gyms/raids... totally worth it and really adds to the experience.

I, like many of you, have a job. That job requires me to be working from the minute I get there, to the minute I leave, with no time to leave for any reason.

Saturday, our raid window was already closed when legendaries were released. Yesterday, I didn't get home from work until 9pm. Today, I got out at 7pm, and had just enough time to drive around town and see all the Arcticuno raids ticking down their last 15 minutes, and arrive at the only one with other players at it just as they were all finishing their battle.

Now we're hearing that Arcticuno is being removed "after a short while"?!

To say that I'm unhappy would be an understatement.

But maybe it's my fault, for requiring a job to provide me with the resources to buy food and pay rent.
