Only being able to fight in 6/10 raids, get rewards for 5/10, having to use revives/potions on pokemon you didn't even get to use AND losing half your passes thanks to game/network issues. If it wasn't for the guaranteed catch bonus this would have really sucked.

When will they do a fighting event? Machops have always been super rare in this game for some reason. Mankeys too for that matter but at least they aren't as hard to evolve.

Maybe do one for the Mayweather - McGregor match. Obviously that's not going to happen. I suppose the Olympics will be our best hope because that would be considered an athletic time so to say and fighting pokemons would be considered athletic I suppose.

Got off of work as soon as I could. Got to Buckingham Fountain to get Articuno. Went to Lugia next, but the fucker got defeated literally 2 minutes after 7 PM.

FUCK!

There went my free chance, literally slipped past me. I tried 2 more Lugia raids, but they all failed miserably too, and I missed some of my ball throws because the game was lagging from all the strain downtown.

If Niantic knew what's best, they would've extended the raid bonus and the post-Go Fest Pokemon until Thursday as well. Oh, sorry that I have to work a job and have family obligations that I missed out on something nice from Niantic for once.

It's tough to tank it out for an entire legendary fight if you don't have the right mons or aren't high enough level. When all your pokemon faint, you rejoin and use blisseys to hang for the last part. It guarantees you can stay for the end and get your bonuses and catch chance.

Golem will eat a dick from Articuno. Ground is weak to ice, so despite rock being the best damage output, there's a chance a Golem would crumple to Frost Breath, let alone Articuno's charge moves.

Also, Ground types may resist Zapdos, but it won't do shit for damage. Remember, immunities don't exist in PoGo, but they do do greatly reduced damage, x0.510. That should be pointed out on the chart. Never know exactly how many idiots won't realize that.

I've seen Articuno done with a group of 8-10 fairly average players, but I think it can be done with a team of 5-6 NEETs who do nothing but play this shitty cellphone game all day.

Luigia is more difficult, and I've only personally done it with 14 players (but a lot of them were some combination of low-level, really stupid, or 6-8 years old).

Articuno is double weak to rock, so using stab rock helps. When you're facing shit that has 40-45k cp, every little bit helps. Frankly, I prefer to use a rhydon with rock smash and stone edge. They have the best defense to last through the fight.

GoIV/Calcy sometimes need more info for exact IVs, occasionally it makes a difference 87 versus 91 on larvitar for example. With IV GO open on ur laptop, GoIV is the perfect companion because now you can tap from the 3 possible combos that GoIV cant narrow down and it will auto copy the line with correct IVs

The qr codes just encode a 12ish long passcode of letters and numbers, hence the backup "enter code" option where you enter the code manually (it's printed under the qr code on the sheet you get)

My guess is there can be no reverse engineering, this is actually a secure strategy.

They end up being important some times. Case that comes to mind is the golems i am using against articuno raids, one is powered up to 2500+ cp and survives a single blizzard just fine but my lower level 100% golem just barely survives a blizzard, which is sometimes the difference between getting stone edge off or not

It's real expensive to power stuff up of course, so in this case i count the good ivs of that golem as what allows it to barely survive the blizzard, with worse ivs it would probably need to be 1 or 2 levels higher

I have a 97IV Cloyster with those same attacks. Go for it, it's surprisingly bulky. Same for Lanterns I've realized, even a Lantern at ~1300CP can sponge a couple of Lugia's Hydro Pumps.
