They claim that if you spin the ball and throw it to the left, you'll have a higher chance of making impact with the Pokemon. Should I start spoofing again? I've only caught 4 perfect IV Pokemon in the past two months and 3 of them were raid bosses. It's kinda getting disappointing that I keep getting less than perfect Pokemon compared to when I was catching several dozen of perfect IV and moveset Snorlax, Dragonites, Blissey and Tyranitars everyday.

Tempted to reinstall the game on my old outdated Galaxy Note 4, because I know I can't spoof on my brand new Galaxy S8+.

What determines how or when the pokemon spawn?

In most roads outside of town I don't encounter anything or at least barely, but if the road has a pokestop on it somewhere alongside it, it seems like spawning is quadrupled. (for clarity: I don't mean the pokemon spawning to the pokestop, but I mean the random spawns like from the "nearby" section)

I sort of tested it out with a friend and went down the road of a very long street leading out of town with 3 stops on it in town itself. Over all the rounds down that street over the last couple of days have found multiple Starmie, Electabuzz, Sneazel, Mantine, Octillery, Dratini, Qwillfish.. you know relatively unique pokemon.. a couple hundo of psyduck, staryu, magikarp, slowpoke, poliwag and chinchou (it's a long street)

At the end, the road splits up into another street on the countryside with no stops on it and we encounter nothing. Drive into another small road with a stop alongside it and boom, there's at least 12 pokemon.

Random side note: I wish the "nearby" section for Pokemon was always viewable instead of just pokestop spawns.

Someone replied to the post and claimed one of their group members had to drop out and their group had an extra wristband that would've went to waste. With /pggs/'s sarcastic nature, I thought I was probably being trolled, which is fine, I get some people want to have a laugh at other's expense. No worries, I just wanted to know.
I message him about 30 minutes after the comment and got no reply. I thought the trolling was confirmed by him not communicating that night.
The next morning I wake up to a (You) from him at 7:30am saying he wasn't kidding and I could, in fact, have the wristband and early entry for face value. Then, he provided a number to contact. I call and he confirmed everything, even invited me to hang with their group.
Proceeded to flip out, woke up gf as I'm scrambling to get things together to get downtown; then says in a groggy morning voice:
"You're gonna meet up strangers who you talked to on the internet for the wristband?"
"Babe, they're not strangers. They're from the best community on Earth, 4CHAN!!"
I get downtown, park, and meet them in line. Super nice guys. I still couldn't believe it was happening.
They handed me the wristband. I enter in the activation code, and BOOM!!! IT WAS ACTUALLY REAL!
We stuck together the whole day and had a blast. Yeah the first 4 hours sucked, but after 'Ni-antics' extended the radius of the fest, we left and caught all the Mons we possibly could. We walked all over the loop, gained 60k stardust just from the fest alone BEFORE bonus stardust, and all the eggs I hatched.
Then legendaries popped and and got them both. Absolutely. Incredible.

Everyone and their mother caught the legendary birds and Mewtwo during the Red/Blue days, or at the very least had a chance to (and if they failed, they could just reset and try again). Even Mew could be gotten via glitch or distribution. Nowadays, legendaries are even easier to get than ever before. Legendaries were never "exclusive".
