Rowlet has been the most popular pick since they were announced tho as far as I'm aware, and Incineroar is only gaining some popularity because they intended to shill him from the beginning.

Let's get real, I think it's probably still too soon to decide which starter(s) are the shilled ones. Incineroar is on the 20th anniversary movie for instance, sure, but is it really to shill him in that sense? In the anime, we're even not entirely sure how that'll fare out.

I'd say to wait a little before jumping into conclusions. That reminds me, we haven't even got their HAs yet, we're still waiting on them.
