Variety is nice in gyms and all, but all i need to do is alternate between my 2 3k+ dragonites to wipe the whole gym. Even a fully fed gym takes me less than 20 mins from full to wiped.

there's like 3 tyranitar within walking distance a day in any given area of my city these days

I've been trying to do the same. There's one Instinct gym near me that immediately recaptured after they're knocked out. They should at least be happy they get coins every 12 hours or so.

On the other hand, I've had a Pokémon trapped at a gym for close to 3 days now. The gym is next to some houses. I'm convinced the people that live there are constantly feeding the Pokémon berries to make them stay. It's the only gym like that near me. What is it with Slowpoke and high IVs?

Had a massive battle against a bunch of rival Valor Carfags including - a family of three (mum, dad, unknown youngest), a woman with yellow teeth who looked to be in her 70's and a teacher heading home from work.

Ended up taking out the 6 main pokemon, plus each of theirs and put mine in just before the raid.

Sure they'll probably take it down after, but it gives me 1 hour worth of protection in the gym while the raid is on - giving me a minimum of 6 coins.

I finally met a few of my "arch-enemies" in person. One dude few years older than me probably, a dad with 2 young boys and an older lady all from Instinct (the latter says she always likes the pokemons I put in gyms). Instinct rules my hometown but eventually we had this unwitten agreement where they would keep my hometown but let Mystic (my team) keep two smaller towns on the right and Valor a bigger town on the left.

Still it was fun talking to them while taking on a Tyranitar boss raid. Apparantly they really keep an eye out for me because of the tricks I pulled before. We shared stories on how we bullied each other and who the local spoofers are. And now with their help I got my first Tyranitar so I guess we're frenemies now. I'd like to meet them again another time.

Mathmatically it's only useful against TTar but seeing as TTar is a solid counter it's kind of a must have alternate moveset. My other ones have Confusion/FS and that is the true demolisher.

Yes. Android spoofers have to get something to mock location(and detection of that), and joystick to move the person.
Apple spoofers just download and install (via computer to iPhone) a cracked application with in built features. Sniping was literally the easiest thing (now there's at least a 2hour cool down maybe "worse")

Botters are something different. Having downloaded a bot to make a lure bot (level up accounts automatically to level 25 or 30 and have free lures) this i can speak to how it used to be. You needed intermediate nerd knowledge (python) but basically downloaded a bot, input parameters to customize where it went/what it caught/kept etc. Then downloaded a visualizer which showed the bot account on a map.

In November or so, after a few google api updates, the service bots relied on was no longer free - have to pay for a hashkey. Scanners (dummy accounts that look for mons also rely on paid access). You only need a computer not phone to run a bot. I only did it for lures bc i lived on pokestops and 100 coins for 30min isnt worth it outside of an event. I always exhausted my lures before they were banned so i set my pc to bot them to level 30 in 36 hours not caring how flagged it was.

Then there's middlemanish bot services, those who use these are the worst of the worst.

Before gym rework, you could pay $20 and it would not only manage your bot/account for you but could bubblestrat gyms for you in less than 2min.

Now i assume they allow you to tell them which gyms to always feed etc

The second best is probably the Lax, but that depends on its moveset and what you intend to do with it.
