It's piss easy, I got Sinnoh without spending anything and Shiny Gyarados Pikachu with just a MS camel. Farming the cat is so commonplace that you shouldn't even bother doing anything without getting to 90k first. As soon as an event ends and you caught everything your first thing should be to grind up to 90k again without even touching the main stages or expert stages, otherwise you're fucked for the next events/competition.

Caught Karpchu and Garychu within my first 5 hearts. My luck is not gone for the rest of the year.

Depends on what you've got from event stages so far. M-Bee if you have it, Gengar if you don't. Hoopa-C is great for that stage, but Escavalier or Raticate-A can substitute. SS Yveltal would be beneficial. Last slot could be a few things: Accelgor to eject, Zoroark or Lunala for the combo multiplier, or Darkrai for sleep.

I was at that point too. Once you collect and train some of the more powerful mons, the levels get easier to do itemless, but the new stages are harder again because of the account for power creep.

For example, the first time playing the Aggron stage, I couldn't beat it because my only super effective way to remove blocks was with Ninetales. Later when I came back to S-rank the stage, I did it itemless because I had Talonflame, Golurk, and Machamp.

Build a team that can beat survival mode and play it while watching some show in the background. Takes less playtime than grinding Amphy for more XP gain, plus you can save up XP boosters for later and actually control where to put the XP.

I explained why I hated them. They are coin dumps, multiple days worth of coins for the chance (Not even a guarantee) of a couple MSU/RML on competitions or 40-50k+ on EBs to get to the higher levels. Plus it's hundreds of hearts spent on them and sometimes the game gives you the middle finger so you sometimes don't even pass levels with items which I've had happen time and time again.

I'm fine with them once a month at best, but we get them over and over and over and I don't have the hearts to spam getting coins back and doing their nonsense at the same time. I've never even reached the top tier of any EBs for example, the closest I get is like 110ish on the 150 comps or 175-200 on the 300 comps and even then I've wasted 30kish just to get maybe one or two RML and MSU and at least a hundred hearts or more. Hell, the last time I even got close to the first tier of a competition is back when we still had home menu buffering. When they switched to moves it was a complete shitshow to even hit a third or fourth tier even with all items.

I'm not made of coins here, I'm the guy who mentioned he went from 99k to 40k just going from 551-563 getting S ranks the other thread, I have absolutely no luck on any of this shit. I had to redo Ralts, Gastrodoon, and Arbok more than 5 times each for example because the skyfalls were beyond worthless even with items.

Regarding Poison teams, I just wouldn't use them. Against Fairy, Steel has many more heavy hitters and Solgaleo is the nail in the coffin for Poison Pact. The damage boost from Poison status is nice, but often outweighed by being open to disruptions. And against Grass, there's already Ice Dance, Pyre and Skyblast teams.

Apparently Dragonite newly received 10 RMLs putting him at 130 BP. I was not completely aware of this separate matter of note, however, that there was a buff to Dancing Dragons in April that increased the damage boost from 20% to 50%. Now, I am perfectly hesitant to invest in any Dragon types for obvious reasons. Quirky+(+) is trash unless it's SL4 or 5. Eject+ is better with its proc rates, but both are only to be used as desperation moves or when you have a save 3+ combo. I match Pidgey more often than Lugia since it might eject just the wrong Pidgeys. Otherwise the teams are similar

MMY's biggest downside is in being easily confused with MMX, as >>32863243 did.

Quirky/Eject are shit abilities because they always erase the icons you don't want to erase. I tried using a MMY team with Cosmog for the memes and it was shit, same with the Quirky+ one.

Salamence was meh for me, I had much better luck with MMY, but I guess both are the same.

All I've been doing lately is grinding coins. Currently I have 85k, my Landorus is SL4 and with his terrible drop rate I won't be grinding him all the way to SL5, I'd rather feed him cookies.

fully candied Mememence and MemeMY are basically the same. They remove up to 10 of their type and you get them online in first or 2nd turn. 3 if you get awful skyfall.
Mfug is also basically the same. With the old Meowth Layout it was tough to get it online right from the beginning. But the new one gets it mega fast enough.
