I invested already 20k coins in Lux and am barely at SL3, then again the truly juicy multipliers come with SL4 and SL5 so you would spend around 70k to get it maxed. The starting board is awful, but if you get a M-Diancie match at the start you can easily win

Any mega effect with a sweep works well with Luxray, Lucario is pretty decent, just make sure and keep making matches on the other side. Tappers are the next best bet, followed, finally, by Mega Fug, Fug will remove clouds wherever you match plus wherever it removes an icon, so it's rather random. All of these options are probably gonna cost you a MS to be worthwhile.

I'm at 90 with Level 15 Diancie, BB+ and 0/10 msu. I used it purely for boss levels so far, using standard dancing dragons team, since I don't have anything invested whatsoever in Ice Dance. I was trying to do 90 without AP, but that looks impossible for me right now, though.

Successful honeymoon for me. Caught Arceus, Shiny Gyrados, Latios (and quit after I got the Latiosite), Luxray, scored fairly well in the comp (gonna need to keep at it though 42k points), and made a shit ton of progress in the main stages.

Stage 90 of EB done with M-Bee (MAX), Azumarill (12, SL4), Goodra (8, SS with SL1) and A-Ninetales (10, SL3) with AP+ and T+10, cleared with 7 secs remaining.

Tried once and did 40% or so so thought maybe this would seal the deal, just matched bee to deal with the initial disruption (still took me a while as there were no bee icons on the board) and tried to either freeze or burst damage doing 4-5 tile matches. I'm fairly sleepy so I had trouble doing simple stuff like arranging the icons, definitely doable faster if you're fully awake but DAMN WAS THIS STAGE NASTY. I don't think of going further than 125 at most if this continues.

Also cat gave me 7k coins, not too shabby I guess.

This EB is kicking my ass, just did 90 with the same items as>>32897820 but with a stronger team, failed the first time and cleared it the second time with zero seconds left (not too mad about buying items twice though, I had 2 free T+10 and 98k coins, needed to make room for cat). A-Ninetales is really disappointing me (which sucks because it's my favorite mon), Freeze+ is hardly lasting as long as a "permanent DD" like it's being hyped up to be. I wish my Vanillish was higher level so I could use a Fug+ice dance combo. Good luck to everyone else attempting the climb!

You can go into the Options menu and disable music and sound effects. I like to turn the music off but keep sound effects on so I know when skyfall stops during the Safari and I need to start paying attention again.

Damn, haven't been this mad in a while. Spent around 25k on stage 100 of the EB and still can't beat it.
The fucking blocks disappearing after 2 secs destroy every combo I have in mind mid-air so even thinking about Dancing Dragons is a no-no. And the bursters of course don't fucking work even on 5 icon matches (specifically talking about Goodra). I've left 54 coins so I'll need to go back to cat, get some money for my comp try and get some spare change for a full item run and stop there, fuck this shit.

My dragons aren't exactly powerful, my Ice types are uninvested bar A-Ninetales and Glalie (lvl 11, SL3), and my Fairy types aren't exactly the most powerful (Xern still level 10 and Diancie level 11 out of 12 possible right now with 6 candies), so that was the best team I could come up with.

M-Diancie (lv 10, fully candied, MB+ SL2 but it never triggered)
Dragonite (lv 10, SL1, holy shit it can take 10 RMLs?!)
Zygarde-Complete (lv 10, black smash+ SL2, it proc'd one since combos got dropped all over the place)
Kyurem-W (lv 10, SL1)
My items were T+10 and AP+, dropped combos all over the place, I'm not sure if Dancing Dragons even went off (it didn't with my starting match of Dragonite), won with 4 seconds left.

~200 ish. I suggest S-Ranking everything you can early and catch the EX legendaries. It gets to the point where you can't do shit without items.

Beat 125 with M-Diancie, Dragonite, Zygarde-Complete, Kyurem-W, max candies on MB+ Diancie, all level 10. I failed twice itemless then beat it with T+10...with 13 seconds left of fucking course. I'm gonna continue the climb, my coins are still in the high 80k range.

I'm using the same team as in the screenshot.

M-Ray is fully sped up, so that helps alot.

I basically tried to spam pairs of 3, it doesn't really matter which mon, cause Luxray doesnt have lots of HP. But the key to actually combo imo was having shapes that you can clearly differenciate in the clouds. It's easy to see Mudsdale (hairs on the bottomside are visible).

Landorus chin is also visible. I picked Garchomp as last just because of the Attack Power, you can barely see it in the clouds. I don't really have any other strong ones or ones that you can see good in the clouds, so that's it.

Ray's horns are visible on the upper side, so it's easy to match it.

When the round starts, sometimes the middle of the board gets wiped by Luxray, not always but sometimes, and you can get an extra combo if you're fast enough to move one of the Luxray's in the corners in the combo, for a small extra damage.

Rest is just up to routine and speed, after some time you get used to the clouds.

It's still not that easy, I fucked up often enough too, small mistakes generally fuck up the run.

Dunno if there's anything else to consider, but if there is I'll post it here.

Just keep in mind that this worked for ME, maybe it doesn't for you.
