You know what the biggest problem with Clover is? The devs don't understand the difference between an honest challenge and bullshit obstacles. You have solid challenges like Kanye and Freddie's battles, and then there's bullshit like Guy's gym puzzle and the six gorillion spinner puzzles that are insufferable right from the start. The devs seem to be incapable of determining what should and should not be in their own game, and that is just sad.

If you know about L. Jackson prior to playing you can make an effort to use six Pokemon as fodder, providing you HAVE more than six Pokemon to begin with.

Even better, teach everything Protect or Endure for maximum survivability. The good thing about L. Jackson is that the game doesn't make you fight him directly after your rival, it's only as soon as you're about to exit Victory Road that he challenges you, which gives you time to go back and replace your team with shitmons.

Of course you can have a low level shitmon hold a Smoke Ball but I can't guarantee that you won't run into a Motherfuck or two ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I got Dio legally by resetting in wondertrade on the 8 gyms demo, then when I updated diobat transformed to a cakemon because the dex was rearranged.

Just save in the game menu like in a console, then just locate that file, it should have the extension ".sav" with the name of your rom.

In pkhex locate your diobat, it was shroomish in the previous patch, just change the species to Kirlia, which is the corresponding number.

Now just save the ".sav" and replace the original one, your diobat should be there anon

In response to the good puzzles/bad puzzles debate, I do somewhat agree that moving tile puzzles are BS, but I kinda understand that Team Karma is designed to be cancer and they only come up in Team Karma places. So it makes a lick of sense.

Also, nobody has brought up Polk's gym "puzzle". Idk if it's a puzzle or not, but I just wanted to say that it's brilliant. We need more unique puzzles like it in the future.
