Bonnie is a kid, of course she doesn't have a goal, but she did aspire to be cool like Ash, Serena, and Clemont, and wanted to be a strong Pokemon Trainer in the future. And this isn't assumptions, this is what she said herself.

Misty's goal is just like Ash's, but she wants to be a Water Pokemon Master. She already basically achieved her goal because she's a Gym Leader of a Water-type Pokemon Gym.

Sophocles doesn't have a goal. Kiawe doesn't have a goal. Lillie doesn't have a goal. Lana's goal is retarded, and Mallow's is the only one that actually is a legitimate goal but how can she expand on that with dedicated episodes?

I haven't watched much of Sun and Moon, but what I've seen has been pretty enjoyable.

The ensemble cast and the almost slice-of-life focus makes it much, much comfier than past Pokemon shows, and I appreciate that it doesn't lean so heavily on the game plots and tries to do its own thing.

It only took 20 years, but I hope future series learn some lessons from Sun and Moon.
