Again, this is completely false. The unique thing about XY was that there were a sheer amount of episodes where the main highlight was battling. There was so much battling where that was the main reason why people enjoyed the saga.

Side tournaments aside, look at Best Wishes and Johto. Take away the side tournaments and the Gym battles and then tell me, how often did Ash or anyone else actually take part in a battle that wasn't against TR?

I'm not confident in Rowlet evolving so I doubt Decidium Z-Crystal will be obtained.
