I was at the park with my gf, and we were baiting Larvitars because there were several claims that they come to lures. They didn't in the 1,5h lurefest on two stops. In the meantime, we raised gym that was there from level 4 to level 7 and put our mons in.
Sometime after that, this awkward, mildly autistic guy walks over and asks timidly if he can pop his mon in. We were like, sure, whatev. He apologized gor the trouble, put his mon in and walked away. I checked the gym and it was this level 40 giy who has a shitton of good pokes and is at the top 3 of most gyms around here, and everyone thought he was a spoof fag. Turns out, he's just a weird autist.

Fighting, Rock, and Fire are the rarest in my grassy area. Went to Japan recently and lived in a mountain biome for a week, so I'm nicely stocked on Rock and Fire now.

I went to Universal studios in Orlando this past week and had my wife install PoGo on her apple watch so I could reap sweet eggs. She hit all the pokestops she could and hatch a lot of eggs, probably 5 to 10 a day. Lots of 2km and 5km eggs. Our last day there I got 3 10km eggs.

Just throw Pokeballs like mad if you're in an area with lots of Pokestops, and stockpile your Greatballs. Once you're in an area with little Pokestops, use your Greatballs to optimize your throws and use as few balls as possible

Recovery items should've been better balanced. You practically never, ever run out of them if you've expanded your inventory space even a little, so they just clog up inventory due to how few you need to use to get back up to speed.

All it'd take is to scale all HP and damage/power by about 1.5x, because except for a few specific Pokémon, Hyper Potions are identical to Max Potions.

Everyone is wanting gen 3 for w/e reason, and it doesn't ever seem for good reasons. Instead of gen 3, which is gonna be exactly like gen 2 in the sense it is just catching more mons. I don't want them spending their time to make 3D models, animations, pokedex slots right now when what we really needs is more actual content. Wanting gen 3 is playing right into their hands and probably makes them think what they have right now is a good game, it is not.

Their are other reasons than this though. specific mons in general are only gonna be harder and harder to find as more gens drop, so fuckin cherish this time we have now, five years from now their will be plenty of people that wanted and pushed for gen 3 - 7 to come out and then will have one hell of a time filling out the dex/obtaining good IV with moveset mons. Take your time, make sure you are getting everything you will ever want with 500+ candies so in the far future you will have resources that others don't

Do not waist this opportunity, it will only be like this once. Get as many different moveset combos as you can with each mon, you never know when moves will change or become legacy. Everyone made fun of my takle starmie, b/c takle sucked & was super slow, now it is fast af. Starmie still sucks obviously compared to vapes & what not, but you don't know the future b/c niantic doesn't tell us shit.

Enjoy the slow ride, fill up on gas now, in the long run you will be happier it took longer to get the gens out than what you originally hoped. Also if niantic can add some actual content it will make the gens to be released after the added content to be that much better.

legacy shit will be worth $$$ at some point, it always works this way with games. You may not need the money, but you will feel like a pokeboss-ass-nigga when you got dank mons worth more than your friends/opponents phone

That's good, because they don't. The models and animations are ripped straight from the 3DS games, and Pokedex slots are literally just changing a few variables plus one guy to write all the entries.

Fucking finally got my first event Larvitar. Saw it on the radar, grabbed my keys, took my bike and fucking drove down the surprisingly but thankfully empty street the fastest I ever have. Love this game.

I hear ya, and not a bad plan b/c it has been a minute since gen2 now I guess, but I would just hope that they do infact work on something fresh. I get they are working on a gym system, but I just feel that it is overdue. I mean we have been playing the same thing for 10 months now roughly with no huge changes, just more stuff to catch.

This is me actually. I drive 15 minutes just to get into a small town, 45 total to get downtown. My point is that this will only get worse, so yeah for me it is really important I have enough time to get everything before more mons come out. I am really close though and 1/4th of the way to 37.

Yeah this would be amazing, but I have learned, as we all should have by now imo, that you can't always rely on your hopes. RNG keeps us playing, and if we could just sit at home and do some rerolls idk how that would affect the game. Maybe they could make a system where we still go out and do shit to get a move reroll.

Ziploc bag does a surprisingly great job of making a phone waterproof and the screen should work just fine through it.

However, nothing can really prevent water from fucking up the touch detection. Whether or not there's a bag or protector over it, water on the screen will make it wig out and throwing Poke Balls will be impossible.

Your best be is actually an umbrella. It'll occupy one of your hands, but it'll keep water off the screen while also keeping the screen usable.
