This raises a good question. If the storyline was original enough, could you make your own comic/webcomic/game/whatever where everything is just basically a gijinka? Like gijinka are more or less original characters inspired by Pokemon. I would think all you would need to do is avoid using the actual word "Pokemon", any other "Poke" word, and any other Pokemon concepts (Gyms, badges, teams, etc)

They're not the actual gods but twins named after them. I didn't show them but I'll mention the abilities. Diana and Apollo draw their powers from the spirits of the moon and sun, respectively.

There's a DC character named Artemis. No lunar theme, she just uses a bow. For this gijinka, you could make the case she's wilderness/forest, themed, and Artemis was a nature goddess.
