I know this is newfaggy, but why does my defender bonus shield icon only go up to 10? I thought it went beyond that. I'm a legit 32 and never held more than 10 gyms before.

I can't say I've had any negative issues with organizing my collection, so I'm not afraid of increased frustrations. I have bought my 900 spaces expansion today and until now I've had fun with this system: I keep a companion Google Sheet which I made (and have shared with everyone on a previous post) that mirrors my Pokémon collection and which I use to keep track of the moveset and IV score for all my creatures. Most days, when my day is ending, I just sit with my tablet or PC and my phone and I spend 15 to 20 minutes going through my recent catches and adding new individuals to my collection or replacing weaker with stronger ones (between the two, lately I've been keeping around 10 new individuals daily).

It is great at killing;
Gyarados, Dragonite, Espeon, Snorlax, Blissey, Eggman, and other fire types! Its moveset is also perfect for killing legendary Pokémon (crunch might be better for psychic ones), so power it up to 3000+ and go to town on gyms. I've only ever hatched a 15/13/15 Larvitar so you did pretty good.

I get this, but where it took 2.5 months for me to go from lv30 to lv31, it only took me 2.5 weeks to go from lv31 to lv32. I understand the idea of averages, but I play at different intensities at different times. I play a lot more in the warmer weather than I did in the colder weather. That kinda trashes the average. I'm not the anon asking how to math. I'm just trying to understand how to create a more accurate model.

Spawns don't just immediately revert, the probabilities slowly start rising before the event starts and then slowly drop back down near the end like Google is using some sort of gradual temperature function.

Event should be over by now.
Any spawns you see now are probably the leftover stragglers.

I feel like blissey is the worst thing you can do to a friendly gym

it doesn't make it that much harder for an opponent, because they're taking high cp pokes in to bust the gym anyways

but it makes it frustratingly hard to prestige for your own team, and in the case of low level players maybe impossible to prestige

opposing players in my local meta have taken to instead of breaking our gyms down fully just breaking them down to the blissey so that it's annoying to go back up

game really needs some mechanic changes before blissey is in everybody's hands

The CP rework really didn't help at all
It made a lot more previously weaker Pokemon stronger, but still buffed 4 of the strongest Pokemon (and turned Blissey from a 1200CP Pokemon into 3000CP Pokemon)
Attacking gyms is more flexible because all the old shitters are now pretty good like Alakazam, but because Snorlax, Gyarados, Vaporeon and Dragonite got buffed too with the rework, it still kept everyone else out the defender meta

I saw John Hanke at a grocery store in Los Angeles yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.

I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly. I wouldn't rely on him making a better game anytime soon.

A few months back I was on 4-8 gyms a day because my area is Instinct, but everywhere around it is a battleground for Mystic vs Instinct, so you don't really get to keep them for more than a day

I started planning trips on the weekend to travel into the city and all the way to the other side, where I found a few Instinct strongholds I filled up, and I haven't been below 15 gyms since I started those two months ago

Pokefarms- where you can collect berries daily
Pokemon Centers- That heal you for free but only once for a day per center
Pokemon Marts- That allo you to trade specyfic candies for items
Pokemon Trade centers- where you can leave pokemon to trade

I would also like them to be a crytical points but I have no idea how that could work.

I just want to make Pokemon Go a HEROES OF MIGHT AND MAGIC III with not only pokemon but also rare item spawns
