Here's hoping I'll be able to catch more bulba candies and have another chance at a Whip/grass charge move Venusaur, although it's a shame I've already walked a Chikorita enough to evolve it to the fullest but maybe I can get some extra candy to eventually power it up.

I can't speak to other mystic players, but I don't see a lot of bots in my general area. There's one, and it's an instinct player run rampant. Even so, don't try to fight cancer with more cancer. That low-level Instinct member who might want a shot at taking down an opposing gym or even adding their mon to an existing gym usually falls prey to the bot and surrounding spoofers.

Maybe you should power up relaxo and aim for second to last spot. It sucks, but spoofies gonna spoof, and Snorlax ain't a bad defender. If it were a higher level and at the bottom then for a level 10 gym that's actually helpful, stalling for time, getting them to slip up and accidentally tank a HB, and getting a near guaranteed kill early helps keep gyms alive. Take all the coins you can get, buy yourself a pack of lucky eggs, collect a fuckton of pigeys and rats, then go on a leveling spree. It's what most of us have done. You can even earn xp by just sitting there prestigeing with your Snorlax. Just bring a lot of revives and potions.

They can check the coordinates of the Pokémon possessed by the player with the most common (heat mapped) locations visited by the player. If they find mons that spread too far from the player's main locations, they nuke those mons. This is the problem, and it'd destroy Niantic faster than just letting the cheated Pokemon remain. At least database wipes are consistent. Erasing some Pokemon but not others will get them swarms of dindu nuffin emails, and because some of them are actually legit, it's impossible to tell what's honest and what's deceit outside of retarded snipers. I don't think they have the manpower to cross-reference every individual Pokemon with every ticket or email they get.

It's all or nothing, and all would piss off every surviving legit player. Meanwhile, spoofers and botters shrug it off and continue what they're already doing on a new account.

I, a spoofer, caught perfect Pokemon all across the US. I didn't snipe them, however. I waited for my "niantic location" to catch up to my spoofed location so that it looks like I'm actually traveling at a reasonable speed to the destination - if it takes me 2 hours to go from Philadelphia to New York, I wait 2 hours before doing anything while moving locations. I can easily say I was on a cross-country road trip. How will you, Niantic, or anyone else, be able to tell the difference?

That's the problem though, the gyms in my area are almost a kilometer apart. By the time I'm able to even reach the next spot my first gym is already destroyed.
I'm a level 26 and the most gyms from which I've claimed coins is one.

My area is known for poor cell service. Example - when PoGo was first available we would walk to the park all the time to the pokestop. Neat! Except you log in, spin, and nothing happens. I regularly get kicked from the game because of lack of signal. Unless I'm home (wifi), and I sometimes get some decent spawns, but mostly rattatas, pidgeys, and furrets. When I discovered spoofing I was finally able to get some items to go around and catch/evolve stuff.

This is bullshit. Cities are so grossly favored in this game. The nearest city to me is a 30-45 minute drive. And I don't know about anyone else, but I work a lot and still have to take care of my house and do maintenance and shit.
