Twister is better for defending Gyarados than its other charge attacks because of the AI's algorithm when it comes to deciding when to use a charge attack. Most Jolteons/Lanturns can smash a Gyarados before it can get a single Hydro Pump off, but they'll actually have to spend time dodging if it's packing Twister or Dragon Pulse.

So if you want an offensive Gyarados, I'd recommend trying your luck at getting another one.

If we got rid of CP and the Time limit, the best current defender would be Exeggutor anyway.

Blissey is only good because of the time limit, and the other six 3000+ mons are average besides the whole 3000 CP nonsense

Golem/Rhydon are good against mons that aren't Water/Grass, but Water/Grass absolutely tear them to pieces.
Same with Dragonite vs Ice, Tyranitar vs Fighting and Gyarados vs Electric.

The only thing is, Electric types are pretty crap except low-CP Lanturn and the hard to find Ampharos, Machamp is alright but not amazing and Lapras got a big nerf but is still pretty fine.
Vaporeon on the other hand is one of the best attackers in the game, and absolutely shreds through Golem/Rhydon.

Did anyone else lose incubators during the event? I know their was a lot of egg hatching but I honestly didn't play as often. However I stocked up on incubators and went to bed with 6 at three uses then woke up to only 1. I thought maybe they got discarded in my pocket but it happened twice.

It's been noted after the Easter Egg event that IV's are now player specific, meaning trackers no longer work for IV's.

It also means that Niantic can personally cuck you by deciding what IV's you'll catch. The general theory is that they will intentionally cuck you randomly for an unknown period of time to see if you spoof.

Punishment wont be permanent, but any accounts caught spoofing are apparently going to recieve a temp ban over the time when the legendary events occur in the middle of the year - essentially if they catch you, they'll fuck you over with the legendaries.

Because she had failed to get results, because things weren't going her way, she found things that did do exactly what she wanted to be beautiful. Anything she controls is beautiful and deserves her love, everything else doesn't.

This is just the backstory. The actual game is still there, you can play and see her there for yourself. This level of complexity is almost NEVER found in villains. Not only that, there is not a single "random" trait she has. Her past and the events she went through define her, like any real person. Her personality is a direct result of that past. She is often accused of being Ragyo ripoff, but she shits all over Ragyo, who was just a random maniac. Simply put, she is a great villain, one who easily shits on most villains in general. No Pokemon villain even comes close to her.

The randomness of IVs and movesets add to the longevity of the game. Having some sort of guaranteed way to get the moves would take away from that longevity

Imagine a Pokemon game with no breeding or any way to control IVs. It'll take far longer for someone to get a "perfect" Pokemon, and as a result (in a perfect world without cheating) every Pokemon would have strengths and weaknesses in their stats. Which, honestly, is how the game is balanced. If you max out everyone's IVs, of course the power gap will be incredibly disproportionate.

Now look at the more recent games where you can get perfect IV Pokemon in 30-40 minutes just by breeding. Or a few seconds if you're using a Pokegen of some kind. The result? Everyone has perfect Pokemon and now endlessly bitch that there's nothing to do in the games.

Machamp needs Counter Dynamic pumch to be able to 1v1 a blissey / Snorlax, although mine is 2800 something so it has a lot of extra HP/attack to make it work.

IVs affect CP, which affects their place in gyms. So for defenders, you want as close to perfect as possible.

For attackers, only Attack matters.

If your Dragonair and Larvitar are maxed in Attack, go for it. Otherwise, don't waste your time.

See, it's about resource conservation, that determines the better gym destroyers. Vaporeon might be able to kill 3/4 mons with or without the weakness advantage, but blissey can kill 6/ maybe 7 without dying, while you'd waste 2/3 vaporeon to maybe kill a gym. Blissey is overrated
On Attack, you still use the same amount of potions to heal it, if not actually more because of the much longer time it takes to kill things with Blissey, and yeah, it takes double the fucking time to kill shit which is something I certainly wouldn't want.

On Defense, they are only good at 3k, as they act as a shield from pleb players that literally cannot kill one. Any player above 29 that has access to lvl 30 Pokemon can kill it with even a simple Vaporeon.

Also, it's a pain in the ass to train up and pretty much need to devote 1000km of buddy distance to have more than one fully powered up Blissey due to the rarity of the entire family.

I actually let my Pokemon faint if they go below half HP, and just use Revives to heal them with Super Potions, rather than throwing both those items out.
I get too many revives so pretty much just use them as psuedo-potions mixed with Supers.

While you do that, it allows you to stockpile Hyper/Max Potions for emergencies, since you never really need to use them until you run out of Supers.
