Nests are apparent from the radar, as you can see large amounts of the same Pokemon spawning on a certain stop or cluster of stops. Additionally, the Pokemon will spawn around the stops without necessarily appearing on the nearby/sightings.

i cleared my evening and drove for miles to get to a horsea nest to get a kingdra but the nest migration happened just as I arrived. i arrived at exactly 5 pm PDT, so if the nest migration happened then, then i literally arrived less than a minute too late. however, driving back home, i decided to stop by another park on a whim, and it turns out that became a horsea nest, so it all worked out in the end.

A few more things they could do would be to activate all lures on Fridays.

Give incubators and lures on every level up, or at least make them a very rare drop from pokestops.

I think they'd get a lot more of the old players back if they'd do simple shit like this. Maybe even for those that live in rural areas, have a PVE course you could buy where the game will teleport you to a biome of your choosing and let you run around and catch stuff. Incense only slightly increases the spawn rate. What spawns depends on the biomes you live in, so you'll just be getting more of the same shit you can already get.

STAB always wins out over SE damage due to weaknesses not being as big a deal in this game (though you could make a case for 4x weaknesses). The biggest selling point is that STAB is available 100% of the time, whereas weakness exploitation is not always possible.

So even in a hypothetical scenario, Hyper Beam is better than Close Combat 100% of the time. In the times you'd use Close Combat over Hyper Beam you shouldn't be using Ursaring to begin with. If you're really itching to hit a Tyranitar with a Fighting-type move, you're better off using an actual Fighting-type who will actually get a STAB bonus (and resist most of Tyranitar's attacks, to boot).

Not sure if I did that because my device is shit or because my internet is shit but Before leveling up I accidentally gave one of my gyarados a double powerup making it go beyond what it was supposed to be its max level. After leveling up in this event, assuming that the reason I got a double power up was because my internet was shit at the moment I tried powering up both gyarados I had but it didn't work on any of them. On the other hand I got a double power up on my Rhydon pushing it to lvl 36 when I'm lvl 34 and my gyarados get the "trainer lvl too low" on lvl 35.5

Has Confusion become a better move since the past? Was going through my arsenal of Mr Mimes and wanted to throw away the bad sets, and looked up which moveset is the best on gamepress. Apparently Confusion with either Psychic or Shadow Ball is the best, and not Zen Headbutt which I find to be faster to execute and thus easier to dodge with. Has Confusion's animation speed improved or are you still taking a beating while using it?

Confusion has terrible dodge synergy, but does the most damage. It's best on glass cannons like Espeon or Alakazam, Confusion is way better defensively because there's so much damage you take whether or not you dodge.

That moveset is okay for tyranitar offensively - i rolled it on my only one and have been maxing it out - but it isnt stone edge. I've only used it against blissey and snorlax but was disappointed blissey would half health at 50 seconds and switched to my goat. It will destroy espeon obviously but gamepress lies, stone edge or bust

Ahaha, no. The problem is Wobbuffet has a garbage attack stat (no STAB quick attack hurts it even more). Blissey does not. Blissey can actually hurt things, which makes some Pokemon have to waste time dodging her attacks or risk fainting.

Throw a 100% IV Bite/Crunch (optimal moveset) Tyranitar against both of them. Assuming you never dodge, Blissey will win against Tyranitar, and Tyranitar will beat out Wobbuffet with more than 60% HP remaining. There's no contest.

Even a fucking Murkrow can beat a Wobbuffet. With 50% HP remaining.

I don't see why. There isn't a single Dark-type worth catching in Gen 2.

Houndour/Houndoom are mediocre, Murkrow and Sneasel are garbage until Gen 4, Umbreon is easily gotten because Eevee is so common, and only spoofers benefit from the Dark medal when it comes to Tyranitar.

At least it'd make sense if they waited for Gen 3, because Poochyena will undoubtedly be everywhere.

Spinning a Pokestop is the only way to be sure. If you don't get anything from it, then you've been soft-banned. Spin it 40 times or wait an hour to set it back to normal.

Depends on the spoofer. I spoof because Honke thought it was a great idea to give me not a single Pokestop within a five mile radius of my house. I only grab items though. No Pokemon or gyms. I don't care for the gym game, and I get occasional spawns around my neighborhood. I just have no way of getting items.

I guarantee you when the banhammer comes down, I'll be caught in the crossfire and Chucklefuck000003 with his 20 perfect Blisseys in 50 gyms will be untouched.

I've got a few 3000+ Dragonites that are all legit, candy isn't exactly easy to find but it's there
Rhydon is easy to get to 3000+, as is Gyarados (especially Gyarados)

Snorlax and Blissey are more difficult due to their rarity, and funnily enough the only 3000+ Blissey I ever saw (and defeated) was from some bitch who spoofs all over my city
