Woah now gen 3 was great. FR/LG may not have the atmosphere of nostalgia that gen 1 has, but the games are mechanically better in every way. Would totally recommend whichever one has Growlithe and as for R/S/E they're ok. Play emerald if you want a lot of content.

Hydro Pump is easily one of the hardest moves to dodge (I say hardest but only relative to other ones) and dragon tail charges fastest. Ain't nothing wrong with a maxed out Gyara with a good moveset. Admittedly it's a shitty defender otherwise.

I agree for the most part but Dragon Tail is a really good move. With bite you can just tank every hit with your Jolteon and only dodge the charge moves but not with DT.

I think a lot of people don't fully understand what the vision of Pokemon GO is when they either complain about some aspects of the game or come up with new ideas to improve the game.

What many people need to understand is that Pokemon GO is an augmented reality game. This is what Niantic time and time leads back to and what they build the game around. Niantic wants the game to resemble real life as much as possible. They want the player to feel immersed in the universe like it's a sort of alternative life. This is also why when Niantic makes some of the changes like Eevees no longer hatching from 10k eggs, they don't just simply say "hey guys, we've change the codes so that Eevees hatch from 5k eggs now." Instead they write "Professor willow discovered that...." They want to keep this atmosphere that the game is a universe, an alternative reality that you are living in and roleplaying. Even something as subtle as referring to all the players as "Trainers". It could just be a fun way for Niantic to address us and they might not have put more thought into it than that, but it could also be a conscious choice from their side to keep this roleplaying going as if we are the trainers in this alternative reality.

When you think about new ideas for the game, you have to think to yourself, would this make sense for an "alternative life"? Sure having a guide in the game that tells you the color of the rings depending on the ball type and razzberry would be convenient and help a lot, but in real life, would such a thing naturally exist?

Trackers and city maps/alerts. I love in a desert biome so Larvitars and even Pupitars, which I've caught about 70 and 20 each respectively, are fairly common for me. Throw in Pinap berries and it's not hard to get this much candy.

That's only the 5th wild Tyranitar I've caught though. Much rarer than Dragonite, Blissey or Relaxo.

As a returning player what should be my priorities? when I say returning I mean it's literally been years (or a year? I forget how old this is) since I played. I played back in the first 3 months when it was all bots and discord stuff then quit when the first banwave went out (all my bots went dead but my main account was only spoofed so it survived)

level 26 with a bunch of dragonites but they are only like 2.6k cp and everyone around my town is 3k+

I've noticed that since the event ended, there's an uptick of 45 minute spawns. The vast majority of spawns have been 30 minute for the past few months. Now I'm seeing at least 25% of all spawns showing up as 45 minutes. To add to this, the 45ers tend to be rarer (Snorlax, Feraligatr, Venusaur, etc).

Also noticed much less Swinub and much more Sunkern in places where those where the opposite.

I'll keep my autistic eyes open for any more changes.

There's a gym in a forest about 20 minutes from my house and it will change team no matter what every night, and I'm talking late at night, midnight onwards.
