I liked ORAS more than Emerald. Emerald was probably my favorite game before ORAS came out. The only thing Emerald has over ORAS is the battle frontier, but otherwise ORAS is by far the superior game. Everyone complains about how easy it is but no one's forcing you to use Lati@s or anything...

I love SM. Sure, it removed a lot of things, but I gave zero shits about every single thing it removes, except PSS. Triple Battles, bullshit caves, all of it. My biggest problem with the game was how aesthetically boring the routes and towns were, because they tried to be realistic. Other than that and PSS, I missed nothing and loved the games more than any before them. Even BW2, which had a lot more and refined content, but I didn't like any of that other than PWT.

I liked SM a lot. They had very noticeable flaws, but it probably has in my opinion one of the best "campaigns" (I couldn't think of a better word, I hate using the word campaign) of any Pokemon game. Postgame has little, but still. I lose interest during postgame in almost all of the Pokemon games anyway.

I unironically like Samurott, Chesnaught and Incineroar, and each of these was what I used for my first playthrough of each of their respective generations.

Unova is my favourite region and I enjoyed every choice they made for distribution and story.

Unicorn-doggo is one of my favorites from gen 5. It and Dewott were such an enourmous improvement over the walking abomination that's Oshawott, it's actually kind of amazing.

Ugly facial hair on and completely ruined the shell blade Oshawott line had going for it. It's just a fucking thing, with nothing special about its design and the design that ruined a lot of things for the Oshawott line.

Admittedly, I love it. More so than Serperior. But it really isn't hard to understand the hate.
