Did your phone come with a "fast charge" cable? When it's off, my phone goes from 0% to 100% in half an hour. When I'm just paying PoGo, it still charges (by about 1% per minute). Running the autowalker it stays even.

Catching is the only thing the game actually ports correctly though. To call the shitty gym system "battling" is disingenuous. There is no actual battling between characters (reminder that the game isn't really an MMO). Trading is completely nonexistent (literally one of the game's core design principles) and not even a priority by Niantic. There's literally nothing to the game. Red, Blue and Yellow have more replay value than this game.

Well this is just a time wasting mobile game. Its an endless grind with no endgame ever and no real goal to reach. Its not like the mainline games at all, its something between the main games and fucking candy crush saga.

The point of the game is literally doing the same shit over and over again. trading or PvP wouldn't change much, even if they would change everything to a point that battling works in real games...why should i use PoGo then instead of the main games or a simulator like showdown ?

Tried playing this morning after the update, and any smoothness to the game seems to be gone. While walking, nearby/sightings would come and go every 15 seconds, pokestops had a 2-3 second delay, and the general interface was glitchy.

I just got a new phone and was like wtf when I was playing yesterday. My old phone used to do this then once I got the new one like a week ago it worked great, perfect actually. There wasn't n e problems minus my sucky wifi which isn't niantics fault. Then yesterday while using 4g it started having problems keeping in place. I just had a Lapras show up on radar when I opened the game up at home. First I've ever seen. I run out the door and while I'm making my way to the stop I notice my tracker isn't updating to the stops I'm getting closer to.

Lapras is still sitting at #6 in order even though I'm now right on top of it. Worse is it's not spawning.

I freak out. Check another app for network connectivity. I restart the app. But now I'm getting a failed to login message. Finally I resort to restarting my phone. Finally it lets me log in and it spawns.

I had not seen problems like this since the first two months after release. Huge network errors that literally make it unplayable. I can deal with the loading icon showing up every 3-5 seconds.

The tracker going blank is annoying but not game breaking. Gym lag is awful and makes dodging and switching out a pain. But this is game breaking.

I was already up to my eyes in Magikarps, Squirtles, Psyducks, and the like. This event did next to nothing for me, because it only boosted the spawn rates of Pokemon I see all the time.

Maybe it's because I'm new here, but I don't see the value in risking a ban to have multiples of a pokemon when you can only put one at a time in a gym that I can beat with mediocre pokemon and a sufficient supply of potions and revives.

And if you need an algorithm, third party calculator or seperate app to determine some arbotrary stats that you have no ability to show, train, or effect in any way in the base game - what is the point? Your 2500 perfect IV Blissey still loses to my 3100CP 63% Gyarados.

Not shilling, not trolling. I just don't get it. You need to spoof your GPS location and risk getting banned to use outside calculations to determine an arbitrary percentage you can't effect or display on a pokemon you wouldn't likely use for a gym battle, let alone defending a gym, that you can't battle others with, can't trade, can't breed, and can't actually prove it's "perfection" without a mod or app or algorithm not created, supported, endorsed, or desired by Niantic - why? Why go through the mind numbing tediousness and guesswork?

I sit in my car with my wife and drive down a deserted road late at night while we catch mons and spin stops. This water festival alone got me enough Magikarp to have 3 very strong Gyarados and I have 11 pokemon above 2000cp, all earned the long and hard way. With a bag of 40 revive, 62 max potion, and enough time to do it, maxed out level 10 gyms can't hold out for longer than 15-20 minutes.

Shiny Gyarados shows blue on top of gyms. When on top of a gym it shows as a blue gyarados until you click the gym it shows red for a split second. Shows properly once inside.

I play with a friend of mine but whenever he clicks on a pokemon his whole game crashes. He hasn't been able to catch anything now for a while, pre-Johto even. I don't get what you're asking. There is no value in spoofing, just instant gratification. Some people want that and others don't. That's the difference between spoofers and legit players.

No one needs an algorithm. The reason why people want Blisseys, Dnites and the like is because they have the highest CP cap in the game. Perfect pokemon are the only ones who reach that max cap and the poorly implemented gym system revolves around CP. People basically want those pokemon because they're the best under this system and it's Niantic's fault they're the best.

If you think it's tedious and not worth it to spoof and snipe then don't do it. Just don't look for people to justify why they do it though - it doesn't matter to you anyway.
