So I got bored of Pogo so now I'm investigating a spoofer/ mutiple login account activity,If I compiled a month's worth of evidence and sent it from different email accounts and pokemon go user names could I get someone banned? There's two lvl 40 trainer names that keep showing up in the same gym with the same name/variant of the same name and gyms keep being taken past midnight,mind you this town isn't a big city so lvl 40 accounts wouldn't be around in the first place.The gyms got the standard lvl 3.1+k snolaxes and D-nights too.

Here's a surefire way to know if someone is a spoofer. Knock out gym in a place with nobody around and see if someone magically pops into it after you make it gray. Seen it happen myself.

This. Dumb fuck is too smug for his own good. He's creating a divide among his viewers. I'm willing to bet at least 60% of his fans are spoofers.

I think spoofing and interacting with gyms undermines the value of the whole game and impacts the enjoyment of legit players and I wish it could be instantly shut down now.

But in all honesty, Nianitc seem to have wandered into this game with zero plans or contingencies for combating spoofers, while simultaneously making almost every design decision they could that would accentuate the usefulness of spoofing.

Even going on into the future, they speak about local restricted trading, which spoofers can completely by-pass and essentially have open internet trading to benefit even more from all their ill-gotten gains.

They are essentially like premium account players in some terrible pay to win game, but they didn't pay a thing. I have never seen a game this popular have players so unafraid of the repercussions of cheating and its due to the massive gains it brings and the lack of any punishment for doing it.

I think it has the highest ratio of cheaters to legit players I have ever encountered in a video game. I can't remember the last time I walked to a gym under attack on the map to find an actual physical person under it, tapping on their phone.

Nianitc should have done something about it and it should have been months ago. If they wanted to get people out and moving to points of interest, they are failing more and more every day as they allow people to choose to turn this into a traditional game where they sit down and push a character around the screen.

I saw a real person levelling a gym the other day. Next time I checked it, the legit players pokemon had been shaved from the bottom, and replaced by spoofer's mons. Since they'd fully taken all of our gyms, we had to find new territory - my team of real players fought hard and claimed 6 old mystic gyms as our own. Spoofing is cheating, no way around it. If you don't have any Stops/Gyms near you that is a failure on Niantic, but guess what? They could care less about you. All they care about is the players who play and pay. It shows how cold hearted/ignorant they are but that's the truth of who runs PoGo. Until they fully take a stance on spoofers I say go for it. Being able to play the game as its intended makes for a truly fun and enjoyable experience. Its a shame to get that experience you have to cheat because the dev is too lazy to do it themselves.

As far as I'm concerned spoofers are scum. They have completely destroyed the game in my town. Before they moved in, all three teams played honestly and in the spirit of the game, taking down each others gyms, powering up so other players could get in - maybe a gym would get up to level 7 or 8 and stay a day or two if some of the more hardcore players teamed up, but gyms turned over regularly and often, allowing all players of all different levels a chance to play. Most of us even knew each other, enjoying friendly banter with other teams and good-spirited competition.

I spoof. I have been for the past couple months, I'm not justifying it I know it's cheating no excuses. But I'm not a black heated scum spoofer that likes to take gyms and ruin the game.

All I ever do is go out and find pokemon and if I see a gym of my team that has an open spot I put a really low pokemon in for the coins. I know spoofing is a heated topic and many people hate it I understand, but not everybody that spoofs has and evil intention.

I know 2 or 3 other people that spoof but all we ever do is find pokemon. Hell i still only have most of the common ones, I can't find any of the good rare ones.

But I don't always spoof, when I do go out and travel I take my phone or tablet and I play right there and I will be taking a trip soon so only legitimate for me. I'm sorry for any spoofers that have ruined the game for you, I really am.

I just enjoy cheating, ive cheated at everything my whole life. I was honestly born for it, I've got incredible vision, in highschool I if i could see someone's scan tron sheet I could copy it no problem for about 3 seats in any direction. They're not competing against normal players, they're competing with each other for the gyms.

But honestly, at this point its not about who has the strongest mons, cause they all have matching mons.

Since the game doesnt lets you train their IVs with effort like in the original games, you can't really feel that you did a good job on any pokemon. You just got lucky or didn't, and if you spoof/snipe, the luck is taken right out of the picture as well.

Because they fight for gyms while spoofing, the winner is simply the one that can spend the most time farming pokestops, since thats the guy with the most revives and potions.

A friend was telling me about how it took him 3 hours to "win" a gym because he was fighting against at least other two spoofers from the other two teams, but he was super happy that he won.

So there you go, they get happy from beating other spoofers, and since they are sitting at home comfortably with a drink by their side, they are in no hurry at all.

Its like any other gold farming game where the dude with the most idle time, wins, because he can spend it micromanaging his game while others can't.

In order to stop spoofers from having an advantage, all you need to do is set a limit to how many pokestops you can collect a day. Let's say 30. That's a good number for casual players.

Myself, I live across college campus and in an hour I collect about 50. 30 seems like a good number, considering not everyone has so many pokestops readily available, or have the time to spend just farming. It would place spoofers and real players on the same ground because it wouldnt be about who has the better mons (ie spoofers vs real players luck), but about tactically choosing to attack/defend the gyms.

I don't even care about spoofing, I used to back when my stepson and I would battle in gyms, he's 8, but after spoofers would suddenly appear and retake gyms he just spent an hour taking and the gyms are surrounded by acres of grass and we were the only ones around, well, we quit the gym thing.

In fact, I owe spoofers a bit of gratitude because my stepson wants nothing to do with pokemon go anymore, instead we've been playing sports and reading more often instead of walking around in circles hoping we happen to come close to something other than a pigeon/rat/venonat. I also no longer buy incubators or other items, so the spoofers have saved me $$$ as well.

The one thing I do miss, however, are the tracking sites. Tracking sites got my stepkids really excited to play, we would have one phone open to the tracker and the other with pokemon go and my stepkids would use both to find all the pokemon around, it really taught them orienteering in a day, was pretty cool to see them understand the abstract of the map and the real world.

Then naintic killed that joy so my stepkids are done with pokemon go. I only play occasionally because my office is surrounded by stops. So, in the end it was spoofers taking over gyms and niantic killing tracking that did them in for my family. Like I said, no big deal, we've actually been more active since we put down our phones anyway and we've saved a few hundred $ in the process.

Honestly, I don't see why spoofing is considered such a problem. There is no competitive side to this game at all, so what exactly are you losing by someone spoofing? Nothing. You don't lose anything.
What does the person spoofing gain? Not much when you really think about it. If they are targeting pokemon then they gain an entry to their personal pokedex, but that's nothing you won't eventually get if you continue to play the way you choose to (excluding regionals here).

The argument that it's unfair is honestly ridiculous, the game as a whole is incredibly unfair, and that's not the fault of spoofing or cheaters or whatever, it's solely the fault of Niantic. Walking around where i live, it would take weeks for me to achieve anywhere near the amount i can achieve in an hour in a city. So is it really any wonder that spoofing is becoming such an issue? Since launch Niantic has completely ignored rural players. I honestly don't bother with the tracker where i live, because there is one pokestop nearby and that makes the tracker absolutely useless.

Reached my milestone of 1250 coins today so I'll have the option to splerg on lucky eggs if another double exp event rolls around, not gonna purchase them now though in case their prices drop for an eventual easter event or another sale appears. Gonna take an easier time on the gyms too, although keeping it to at least 60 coins a day would be nice so that I can stock coins for incubators too, although averaging on 80 shouldn't be too difficult.

Not a spoofer either, just live in a community whose Mystic opposition has grown tired of the game and now we usually just fight over three gyms while the rest are stable for the most part. o when Gen 2. first came out, within the first week and a half, I was able to get Upgrade and Metal Coat on first spin of the days while a Dragon Scale came completely out of nowhere. I was hoping that first spin of the day would make getting an item more likely, but I was wrong. I would go the next month without getting a single evo item. I've been using FlyGPS on my android to spoof, only just started so I'm seeing what I can do.
My question, can I set myself somewhere on FlyGPS, open the game, catch the Pokemon I want and then just close the game? Since I'm technically not "teleporting" anywhere whilst the game's open? Or is that just asking for a ban?
Not thinking of going to different countries or anything, just like 20 miles west of where I actually am?
