It's usually speed, slow Chomp's aren't something new and we have seen them in the past, I think it was '14 maybe? There was a really famous bulky Chomp build which made the rounds in the Japanese meta which barely ran any speed and was EV'd to survive specific threats and named after the unusual EV spread.

Point is Chomp is stupidly fast for something that strong and fat, you could probably pinch a few EV's from both speed and atk to buff it up abit and it shouldn't affect it's job too much.

What's a good item to run on Gyarados when you have something else who uses the Z-Move and you bring it 99% of the time to your matches? I've been using a DD set too but honestly I've been having a hard time finding opens to set-up. Perhaps I should switch to a more supportive set?
