That describes any Pokemon with Soar, Infiltrator, Gaseous Form, etc. Those other Pokemon you listed gain benefits off meeting specific conditions. They're not even remotely similar.

Anyways, Reuniclus/Duosion, Plusle/Minun, Electabuzz, Carvanha, and Deino/Zweilous/Hydreigon are others off the top of my head.

I just like Leafeons. They took me from 2100 to 2800+, I'd quit before dropping them.

Poliwag is alright but Mews and Greninjas won't hesitate to attack them due to 20 attack and their combined purple + blue is 44 vs Leafs 48. My big threats aren't bigger purples anyway.

Most people are going for 120 wins (EX Cube) or 45 wins (Deoxys). Some other good stopping points would be 85 wins (50 gems), 55 wins (30 gems), or 35 wins (trophy).

In terms of gameplay?

You try to move your pieces across a board and onto your opponent's home space. You can attack, surround, and jump over other pieces.

In terms of progression?

It's a gatcha game that showers you with loads of useless shit. EX Pokemon, which are objectively the strongest, are hard if not impossible to get if you don't pay money to gamble.

In terms of balance?

Because of RNG and alternative knockout conditions, shitty Pokemon can still technically win, but relying on that alone will net you a negative winrate.

The general consensus is that it's P2W because upper rankings require viable/EX team compositions. F2P players that are in denial or that have outlier-tier luck will try to say otherwise, but ignore them.

Maybe. It depends on how much energy you currently have left. If you've got 110 right now, you'll get about 5 matches in. Since it takes 2.5 minutes to restore one energy, in three hours you'll have about 72 energy back. So that's about 8 potential wins.

So you'll need to buy some energy at some point. It's only 10 gems which isn't bad, especially since you'll be getting 50 gems once you get your 10 wins.

I don't want or need help. It's not an issue of composition. It's an issue of statistics. EX Pokemon simply have stronger and bigger wheel pieces for their MP. The non-EXs that can compete are far and few between.

You even fucked up by listing the ones that aren't offensive in the slightest. Squirtle only has a blue, Shuppet can only move through things and dies to a breeze, and Natu only gets status moves and far-below-curve golds. Eons cap at 40 whole damage (wow!) and rely on you magically rolling your purple while your opponent's gold EX magically whiffs.

If you actually wanted to prove a point, you would have listed Reuniclus, Kirlia, Weavile, or other playmakers or combo pieces that can influence the board.

But though the non-EXs we both just listed are good, they have hard weaknesses outside of the gym and only really truly shine at Master+ rating in builds that use EXs in every other slot to supplement their flaws, and even then you can argue that an EX would pull their weight much better.

giratina might be useful if we ever got a ghost or dragon gym. Giratina with 2 MP sounds OP especially if it's a ghost gym and MP gets buffed. He's gong to wreck shit.

I don't know if you should fuse them or not. I would wait on it in case he gets buffed at some point. Plus if there's a ghost gym, it might be good to run two on the same team. but if your gems and space for figures are limited, you could fuse them and maybe buff that 110 attack.

I did this once early on to see how the order of events would go when I had nothing to lose. It also guaranteed my Ho-oh dead to get back two figures in case my opponent didn't realize they had the win.

I did have two people later on do the same to me idiotically.

My favorite "stupid play" was when my base was surrounded and I had one figure next to his covered base and one on his right spawn next to a Charizard. I hurdled over the charizard to get a double KO of his base sitting figure and my hurdle mon. He had nothing in reserve to stop me from taking his goal. He just sat there for a minute and forfeited after being an aggressive player all match.

Depends on what type gets the attack+ and which gets the MP+. To run a Round team you probably want fairies to get ATK+ as Slyveons are already 3MP so it'll be useless.
