Being able to have your mega ready by turn 1 is amazing and you can clear a big enough field of the board so no nasty disruptions fuck you up.

The go to boss team would be M-Steelix, Darkrai and your 2 strongest SE hard hitters (ideally Machamp, Azumarril)
Items are +5 and MS (if you got no candies for Steelix)
Boss stages 100, 125, 150 are all almost same hp and have additional block support. Also you got Darkrai Disruptions, so thats a nice free combo every couple turns. Steelix does its business and your risk takers are to dish out damage. If you dont got them you need to get lucky with combos but thats very rng fuckable so you might need an ATK for the later ones

Save MSUs for MegaMence, then Shiny Fug. As for RMLs, people are getting a lot of mileage out of Azumarill this escalation, so that's a solid mon to have. The various pikachu are the best in their type once RML'd, though Angrychu is best. It's been quite a powerful tool in competitions and escalations, and given it has a unique skill, it'd be a good investment, not a meme. Or you could get started on feeding RMLs to a water survival team, like Greninja or Wailord.

At least it's the best Safari. Staryu's stage has easy 700 coins, Starmie gives 100 exp, and Starmie just dropped a large EXP booster, so I assume it's going to be very friendly with the drops seeing as they're nothing great. It makes
