I don't get it. I know i had more porygon than lickitung to start the event like 10 to 8 but i caught so my lickitung by stumbling across them, even fucking hatched one last night, yet i still have more porygon. I went for porygon but haven't done more than 3 short walks so 13 so far is good. Only went for 2 chanseys this event i think

Why do walklets try to act so tough?

Stupid fucking idea to have the pinkmon spawns be biome dependent. Fuck Niantic.

My theory as to why Gen 2 is taking so long is because Niantic may be planning on a large game and features overhaul for the upcoming update.

Think about it. A lot of major games have huge content updates that include much more than what normal updates contain. This includes added features, UI reworks, system changes, optimizations, and more improvements to the game and framework.

What if Gen 2 is taking awhile is that Niantic is actively working on adding new functions and complexity to the game? Rather than just saying "Here's gen 2!" and not adding anything else, they probably are going to add huge changes to the way the game is played.

More store items Better Egg system (More Egg types? (Gen1 / gen2 specific eggs) More customization Social features, including Trading Breeding Pokémon Centers Etc

Hopefully when Gen 2 comes out, the game experience will also change drastically. This may be why it is taking longer than expected to push this content.

Major overhauls may be in the works, and Gen 2 may be a huge content update, rather than just a dump of new Pokémon.

My phone's battery is fucked.

I can no longer leave it on while plugged into the wall because it doesn't report voltage properly so Android underpowers it, so it drains battery overnight.

I have to remove the battery and reinsert repeatedly until it's 100% (and make sure it's 100%) before being able to walk out. Portable batteries are worthless because I need to do the battery reinsert thing repeatedly while outside anyway.

Battery is only a year old too.

My bf's son is getting none of the spawns that the rest of us are getting off lures, all day today, tried a few different locations. He had tried placing his own lure even and is getting no spawns except for the few ones that show up on sightings at the pokestops (therefore non-lure spawns are fine). The thing I don't know is how will they implement the gen 2 pokemon levels...if we evolve our gen 1 high lvl into gen 2 mons they'll will have the same lvl. But when we started playing this game, we caught low lvl mons first, and as trainers leveled up so the mons we caught got up. But how will gen 2 spawn regarding lvls?
