There is a lot of waifuspam here, and underwear spam is one of the more cringe/autistic forms of it. The sheer amount of people exclaiming after SM 012 how breathtakingly lewd they thought a totally ordinary bathing suit looked on a 10-year-old girl just kind of reinforces that, as does all the shoops where the bathing suits were removed and little black censor bars were placed over the private parts (though most of the shoops and even some of the SWIMSUITS SO LEWD posts did get deleted).

Maybe I'll get shit for this, but I think the biggest issue with having an ensemble cast in Pokemon is Ash himself. Ensemble shows mix and match their characters even if one of them is more important, they'll get sidelined for whatever that particular episode is about. Instead SM so far is mostly centered around just Ash interacting with them one-by-one.

The SM anime is watchable, with occasional bits of legitimately good writing. Still very much directed at little kids first and foremost, so it's not exactly going to be intellectually stimulating, but the new art style in particular, as well as the larger cast of likable recurring characters, helps make it something fun and relaxing to watch even when not much of worth is happening.

I'm just saying of the older seasons DP should be a priority. Half of it isn't subbed and the DP dub changed too much of the music and had poor acting.

OS and and AG can be subbed eventually, but DP is more important due to the voice changes/music changes and the fact that it's an important saga.
