MSP guy, don't want to bust your chops, but what goes into determining the size of the drawings in the collage? The largest are like 40x larger by area than the smallest, and it doesn't seem to be an issue of resolution. So what's the secret?

Images are never stretched, only shrunken. I try to avoid shrinking an image unless the size it takes is downright ridiculous. If I am forced to shrink, I try to equalize it as much as possible, which isn't always easy since I have space to fill, and fitting certain drawings into the empty space is not always conveniently available. You've no idea how many times I sat there, twenty minutes before the new thread, staring at the on-going thread hoping for someone to contribute something that will fill an empty space caused by shrinking a larger image.

I cannot just shrink down larger images to match the tiny images, either, as that ends up destroying the images. So while it's not always fair, it's the quickest solution I have, and the most convenient in the case of last minute submissions. The alternative is spending half an hour trying to figure out where a newer submission should go should one show up.

That does not really have no definitive answer. It all depends on the smaller submissions and how many of them there are.

I only shrink images if they are outlandishly large or if I desperately need to make a small amount of space (in which case, larger images get prioritized).

That's because I already colored the helm before realizing I forgot to draw the seaweed leaves coming out of the center. But I'm glad it made a nice effect.
