I'm a semi-rural player and so far I've only evolved eevee's that had 80%+ iv's. I have about three eeveelutions of each kind. So 9 in total. None of my vape's have hydro pump, and only one jolteon has thunder (the one with the lowest cp). I find it hard to keep up with the meta, as I see players around me with mass armies of vaporeon. I do find a lot of eevee, but they always have mediocre/bad iv's most of the time. Should I just start evolving the mediocre one's with decent cp as well?

tldr: pay less attention to iv's in order to get a good moveset/breed vaporeon army? or keep focusing on good iv's and get one eeveelution every once in a while. I

Thoughts /pgg/? Feel like I'll never properly play the game if I don't. Took months to finally get gyarados and it's a twisterdos.

The thing with star dust grinding though is that you have to try.

Do a shitton of walking instead of driving, hatch eggs, collect 5k dust from gyms every day, keep spinning stops and farming shitmons even though you're sick of it, etc.

2 weeks is an exaggeration even for me, it's more like 3 weeks since I only do a little over 100k a week because I'm so busy with work now. 3 weeks isn't that bad of a time I feel since I'm here until I hit lv 40 which will take months, and I still have a lot of high IV Pokemon I want to hatch and power up.

Definitely shitmons.

Personally, my walking speed is 3 Niantic clicks an hour and that's without starting to jog and sweat and get tired out after N minutes and having a hard time trying to aim balls while bouncing up and down.

2km eggs give like 600 dust max => 400 dust an hour
5km eggs give like 800-2100 dust => 480-1260 dust an hour, avg. 870 dust/hr
10km eggs give like 1600-3200 dust => 480->960 dust an hour, avg. 720 dust/hr

That's like 5-10 shitmons for an hour's worth of egg hatching. I get 5-10 shitmon in like 5-10 minutes depending on how much of aggressive asshole they feel like being.
Even if you slap on a 9x multiplier by dumping shittons of real cash into incubators, that's still 36-100 extra shitmons an hour and while the extreme end of the spectrum sounds nice, remember that you are spending $10 an hour just to sustain that extra 7.5k dust an hour. Now you just need 40 of those max-incubator-spam hours to get 300k dust. Never worth it in a million years.

Eggs are great when I am stuck at work out of range of the stops half the time because of drift and I don't want to autistically pick up my phone every time it vibrates and everyone stares at me. Drift rates of 1km/hr is better than nothing. Get like 1-2 eggs per 8 hour shift. But if I'm walking and spinning stops, I am going to worry more about catching shitmons than making sure every step I take counts for whatever incubator(s) I am using.

I make like 10k-15k dust a day. The 5k a day from gyms really helps cut down on time, but most of the bulk will always be shitmons. If I don't go walking, I don't get dust.

A lot people think that Gen2 will be released very soon but i see a few problems here.

Caught this lusty toad right when the semester started. Saw the silhouette on the Nearby, fired up Pokesearch and panicked for about five minutes because it was down. Finally got it to scan and found out it was right across the street. Ran through rain to get to it. The IV's are trash but I didn't give a fuck, this was the coolest and rarest thing I've encountered and successfully captured and it still basically is.

I was worried the starter event would've ruined it a bit but by making the final forms abundant but I never encountered any. I didn't even get 125 Bulbasaur candies from the event.

Rhydon is the new Arcanine and maybe Exeggutor in terms of training. It sits low enough at 2600-2800 to be at the bottom half of gyms so we can train it very easily.

It's really not that amazing unless you happen to work or go to school in an area that had a lot of Ingress activity. It's very possible for me to go a full day without hitting more than a couple of stops (mostly because I commute and that speed crap makes it so I can't play on the bus or train anymore)

Honestly I quit for a while and it seems like things went even more backwards. It makes sense for them to take down scanners. They don't gain much from people that scan the city at home and then drive around catching some rare mons. You don't buy incubators when you can just catch the rare mons.

Its the same for spoofers but for some reason they don't anything against them. Maybe because its impossible or they dont want the game to look too empty if so many accounts disappear, scanner users won't quit the game if they kill the scanners but every banne spoofer is one user less that makes the game look like its still alive.
