I've been playing Snorlax GX/Xerneas BREAK online a lot lately. Oddly enough, the toughest opponent for the deck isn't even Garbodor locking out Hypno, but Raikou/Electrode. I think I've only won once against it when even Mega Mewtwo is pretty much 50/50.

If they can't OHKO you, you can endlessly heal your Mega Sceptiles by retreating and attaching energies with Jagger Sabber. Starmie EVO fetches them from the discard so you can keep going. Just take the L vs Volcanion though.

Also feels good to autowin vs frogs.

The first deck I copied was Despair Ray M Gardevoir. Very fun and waifumon to boot. I then bought into the M Mewtwo / Garboder deck and bought some extras to play the fairy variant as well since I had some fairy tech from the Gardevoir deck.

I really wanna try Yveltal or Volcanion but I want to hold off buying more singles till Sun and Moon drops.

You need to work on the wording, the foreign language is showing badly.

Aether Employee is just Olympia? Ride Pager seems OP. Ledyba/Ledian is meh. Shuckle to heal for every two energies is just weird and out of sync with everything else in the game.

Paradise seems not broken but umm.. unenforcable? Like what are you stopping here - ropes, Lysandre, the works? It's interesting at least but probably would create some too powerful strategys and toxic gamestyles.

I do like the other two. Terrain Seeds sounds neat as a kind of updated Charm, and the over/under Minior damage counters is a nice concept and seems well balanced too. You might have to OHKO it, but since it's a GX attack it's a once-off. I like it a lot.

Anyone proficient with PSA grading? want to know if a card i got is worth sending in. If its going to get a fucking 4 or something i wont bother

I'm confused. Steam Up says it applies before weakness/resistance. So shouldn't a basic Fire attack that does 10 damage be increased to 40, which is then boosted to 80 if the target has a x2 weakness?

Yeah, you did that right. When it says before applying weakness and resistance you add up the Base damage and all damage multipliers like steam up first. Then X2 for weakness.

Once you hit level 16, booster packs you win from daily challenge will become tradable.

In the meantime, enter a tournament using tickets. You will win packs/chests which you can trade. Trade these profitably to get enough packs to trade for the cards you want.

You don't have to open the packs. Just use packs to trade for cards you want.

If you can figure out a profitable trading strategy, you can just play a few tournaments and then just use your profits to buy cards.

Like I said, don't rely on pulling the cards you want. Get hold of some tradable packs and use these to buy the cards you want. You are going to remain frustrated unless you start doing this.

Whether you just play tons of tournaments to win packs, or just get a few packs and use a profitable trading system to make more packs doesn't matter. The point is that people will generally only trade good cards for packs or other good cards. If you open packs, you're almost certain to pull junk that people won't want to trade for.

So Lurantis GX's first attack with CB and this guy out swings for 90 for one energy while accelerating two. Mega Beedrill also goes from 40 to 60, which combined with lurantis GX puts a one two punch from 200 to 240. Not bad.

the raritys of cards are Common, Uncommon, Rare, Ultra Rare, and Secret Rare. Secret Rare (SR) card numbers go over the count for the expansion. Like pic related is numbered 110 from a 108 card set.

SM is introducing another level of rarity called HR (not sure yet if that means Hidden Rare or more likely Hyper Rare), but they are even rarer prints of cards you can get in the set already. e.g. there will be three prints of Espeon-GX all in this set, and they all do the exact same thing, but some are rarer than others so will end up being worth more.

Mega Gardevoir
Yveltal/Garbodor
Volcanion
Mega Mewtwo
Greninja

There's some other decks too with relatively good results, but these are what I'd consider the top dogs. Pick your poison.

It's not all Dragonite, Yveltal/Garb had established itself as being top dog in the feeding chain of Mewtwo < Gardevoir < Scizor < Volcanion < anything/Garb since there was no legit [L] decks around before EVO landed. But then people started teching to face Yveltal, plus Yveltal got diluted as they teched for the mirror, then all of a sudden Gardevoir was top dog.

There's a Scizor/EVO Raticate deck been doing the rounds too if you wanted a new variant of it. Dump their special energies then punish them for that.

what that anon said about the Keldeo/Rayq decks is also true for the Mewtwo/Darkai battle arena decks. you can still get it online here and there. Again, a lot of the cards will be Expanded only, but some good staples in.

There is an Umbreon in the new SM set incoming. Not an amazing card but maybe for friendly family matches it could be good. As for waiting for that to drop, you could but, it will be at least two years until the Standard format becomes SM-onwards - theres still going to be a large current pool in addition to SM for the next while.

It's not convulted. You just look at the cards before shuffling them and putting them face down. Your opponent can shuffle them if they want, just like they can your deck.

They 'perfectly' allow you to find out what cards are in your deck on the condition that you draw them and pay costs associated with using them before finding out. You aren't always going to draw them before the information could be relevant, hence why they are imperfect solutions. That's the point, and it has nothing to do with eloquence.

Got a Breakpoint delivered today. Got Greninja Break, M Scizor EX, Scizor EX, M Gyarados, FA Gyarados, FA Ho-Oh EX, holo Garb, RA Gyarados EX, and a Luxray Break. Not bad. Not too interested in Roaring Skies, already have a couple of Shaymin EX and nothing else in the set really appeals to me.
