Emrakul saw nothing good on Innistrad because even she knows living there sucks ass. Emrakul does not have "rose-tinted lens". The ability only fits in function because Emrakul (TPE) has trample.

Shield Dust is from bugs. Emrakul does not have detachable arthropod scales. Shield Dust mechanically fits due to Emrakul's spell protection.

So? Most artifacts are colorless but they'd still be rock or steel type. Emrakul warps and twists minds and is a tentacle beast from beyond, total psychic type if I ever seen one.

A polkemon with no type just breaks it. If you really wanted to emphasize the "beyond the five colors" you could try normal, but I dont think that really works.
