Swords Dance has way WAY more distribution than Nasty Plot. Not saying that makes up for all your points though

You're missing one key difference though: Boosting
Swords Dance has liberal distribution and even then, a good portion of Physical attackers have access to some form of boosting
Most special attackers can't raise their SpA, the most common boosting move is Calm Mind.
Physical attackers are meant to be more volatile than Special attackers.
