Truth be told it's not really any shitter than the average Pokémon movie, but it was the first one to be meh and it replaced the GS Ball and Ash's father, which makes it even more shit than it might have been if not for that.

They should have done the GS Ball when they did the HGSS arc, except they couldn't because the GS Ball event was replaced by the shitty Pichu who's literally only redeeming quality is being voiced by Shoko.

None of the other sagas really have any lingering plots. In DP they never arrested Charon, but I guess that doesn't matter since Galactic was disbanded. BW pretty much wrapped up all its plots, even though they were all lackluster. XY the only thing you could possibly say was the Malamar trio, but even then you could say they were Team Flare experiments.

The only other open ended stuff is obviously all of Ash's former companions continue toward their goals off-screen, but that's to be expected in an anime running indefinitely.

At least M14 had a good dub ED (the female version). The other dub ED was OK, but both the Japanese EDs still beat it out by being the two greatest masterpieces ever recorded.

Yeah, that's true, but BW's first Season was literally the only time TPCi ever gave a shit about the dub. Post late AG, the Pokemon dub has been progressively worse outside of that faint ray of hope right there.

It actually shocked me to see how awful the DP dub translation is in particular, even discounting the Rockets' painful dub lines since then. Ridiculous mistranslations all over the fucking place. I checked out the dub of DP68 shortly after it got subbed and the dub made a hilarious amount of very blatant mistranslations, including shit like Brock saying a Gym Leader's duty is to draw out other trainers potential getting mistranslated into him saying a Gym Leader's duty is to draw out their OWN potential. There were dumb errors like that all over, many of them having the characters say the opposite of what they originally said.

Having said that, XY-XYZ's dub is the worst the dub has been overall.
